An insider’s report on the violence and abuse within Massachusetts migrant shelters reinforced his view that the governor was putting “every child and woman in the state” in danger.

Ahead of President-elect Donald Trump’s return to the White House, Democratic politicians across the country were digging their heels in and asserting they would not only oppose, but actively resist attempts at mass deportation of illegal aliens. Recently, former shelter manager Jon Fetherston spoke with The Daily Wire and suggested that citizens were being placed at risk in favor of protecting rapists and violent offenders.

“There was a lot of violence,” he said of his time running several facilities that included a hotel-turned-shelter in Marlborough, Massachusetts from Nov. 2023 to July 2024. “Unfortunately there was a gentleman in the hotel that impregnated his own daughter and got very violent when the state removed her from the shelter.”

“They had me send them to Worcester County. And I, for the life of me, don’t understand why he wasn’t locked up. A man who admits he committed rape, you’re just going to put in another shelter so he can rape again another day? It makes no sense,” he contended.

The Maine Wire detailed that Ronald Joseph, who’d been residing at the Holiday Inn, had reportedly raped his 14-year-old daughter on multiple occasions, including on their way into the United States.

Citing the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities, it was reported “that her father had sex with her multiple times, both on the journey to the U.S. and in the U.S. [Department of Children and Families] then made the decision to remove [the victim] and her father’s custody on an emergency basis.”

Joseph was transferred to another facility that housed women.

Similarly, Fetherston detailed how a 16-year-old female student was allegedly raped multiple times by a 29-year-old man staying at a shelter.

“She told the police officer that she was raped multiple times. It was probably the most disturbing conversation I’ve ever heard in my adult life,” he recalled.

That individual was identified as Gladimy Rodene by The Maine Wire and though he had been arrested, a spokesperson for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement informed The Daily Wire that a detainer request had not been submitted for either individual

“Governor Healey’s hatred of Donald Trump has blinded her so badly that she has put the risk [sic] of every child and woman in the state of Massachusetts. I don’t understand this. I lose sleep over it,” he told the Wire as she had insisted she would “absolutely not” cooperated with Trump’s intended mass deporations.

Meanwhile, the violent offenders continued to collect the perks at the expense of taxpayers as Fetherston indicated in addition to meals and essential items, they provided same-day dry cleaning and ride share transportation.

Attempts to reign that in found him faced with a car driven into his office as he explained, “If you were receiving benefits and you were receiving those, then we were going to start scaling back on providing diapers, formula and wipes.”

“That did not go over well with the migrants. They thought that they were being attacked. A gentleman then drove his car into my office,” said the former shelter manager.
