Since the November 5 election results, we have seen all manner of unhinged reactions and coping on social media, specifically from left-wing females. Many took videos of them shaving their heads in defiance of the Trump victory, the desired result of this never actually being made clear. These are ladies who would never deign to date conservatives to start, but they were somehow showing those prospective suitors that…a frock-free dome made them more opposed to socializing with them, we have to guess?

Then we saw “The 4-B Movement,” where demonstrably undesirable women were pledging to forego sex, dating, marriage, and childbirth as a form of protest to the election. That is to say, those angered by a supposed restriction on abortions were now pledging to not get pregnant at all – which is, for those who they are angry at, a desired conclusion. The flaw in this plan, of course, was in their failing to rationalize that there were still significant numbers of females who voted for Trump and were perfectly happy that more men would now be on the market.

Now comes the next unhinged step of social defiance. Newsweek is reporting that a significant number of leftist females upset over the democratically determined election result are going forward with preemptive sterilization. The outlet found a number of females who are going under the knife to shut down their baby factories because they are certain their right to eradicate a pregnancy will be limited.

Newsweek spoke to five women who have either undergone sterilization procedures or plan to in the wake of President-elect Donald Trump‘s victory on November 5. They all expressed fear their reproductive choices will be taken from them under Trump’s administration.

Now, it need not be said, as we already know, but Trump has never said he would ban abortion. It was never part of his campaign platform, and he has even stated he would veto a nationwide abortion ban if one arrived on his desk. But these realities do nothing to dissuade the impassioned opponents of the man. That is to say, they are unhinged and divorced from reality. The rationale heard from these preventative procreating protestors is mystifying.

For Lydia Echols from Texas, having her fallopian tubes removed is the price she’s willing to pay to ensure her reproductive rights. “If I am to be denied any rights in the next four (or more) years, I will not give them up without a fight,” Echols said.

She…is fighting for her reproductive rights by eliminating her ability to reproduce…??? This imbalanced logic is just the start of the thinking on display.

A 39-year-old from Washington state, who did not want to be named, underwent a bilateral salpingectomy, in which her fallopian tubes were removed. “I am not happy that I felt forced into a surgery I did not want to alter my body, I feel like the election tied my hands and forced me to be sterilized—that is horrible,” she told Newsweek.

This, in response to not being able to get the surgical procedure of an abortion. And as usual, these reactions to a non-existent national abortion ban avoid any discussion of the numerous other methods available to women to prevent a pregnancy from taking place in the first place.

Oh wait, I stand corrected on this matter; it seems there is a belief that those preventative measures will also be taken away in the fever-dream-level of thinking from these ardent abortion acolytes.

“With Trump’s victory, we quickly learned that my choice to cancel the surgery had been taken from me,” she said. “We both believed that I had no choice but to proceed to ensure that I can protect my health should I be assaulted during a Trump presidency, should my husband’s vasectomy fail and/or should my hormonal birth control become inaccessible.”

She is already on birth control, despite her husband having a vasectomy, AND fears her husband’s own sterilization might fail. Oh…kay, then…

Another woman Newsweek spoke with said she has been leery of getting sterilized. It is something she has considered since middle school, she details, but apparently, the rise of Trump is now to blame for this decades-long consideration. She explains she has “a pretty deep distrust of doctors.” She might need to have it explained that her procedure will need to be performed by a doctor, but it will at least eliminate a possible need for an abortion – that would also be performed by a doctor. (Additionally, she currently has an IUD, administered by a doctor.)

Another woman, who describes herself as asexual, expressed her fear of being raped and incapable of terminating the unwanted pregnancy. She cited stories of women allegedly dying as a result of abortion bans in some states, and Newsweek played along, recounting these reports. As we covered previously, the press has been delivering fraudulent stories about these cases, where the abortion laws did not apply to the conditions that occurred.

Another woman in Florida stated fears of being raped were her primary concern and will be scheduling her hysterectomy – based on words from Nick Fuentes, after he said, “Your body, my choice.” I honestly have nothing to offer if you are someone who takes to heart anything spoken by that source.

The fundamental paradox in all of this is also something never addressed by Newsweek in any of these cases: All of these women decry the chance for them to get an abortion, so they are now taking a step to ensure they will never have to get one. They say this in a fashion to reflect adversely on Trump, but ultimately, they are delivering the very result they claim to oppose – the limiting of abortions.

This mentality is akin to “Well, if you won’t let me, then I’ll refuse to do it!!” They are going to take their uterus and go home so no one can play. But the level of stunted logic behind these decisions is all that need be seen to generate applause. We should be grateful that such shallow thinkers will be removing themselves from the gene pool. Like all of the prior protests that have welled up since the election, we have yet to see what the downside is with any of these pledges being made.
