Remember how pretty much nobody has thought much about the January 6 riot for the last four years aside from far-left Democrats and Washington, D.C. prosecutors and neurotic MSNBC hosts?

Well, that apathy has persisted to the point that even most Dems are in favor of pardons of J6 defendants:

The public broadly supports pardons of defendants charged in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots on a case-by-case basis, essentially the plan put forward by President-elect Donald Trump.

While the country generally approves of Jan. 6 pardons by a slight margin, many more back a selective process, including 68% of Democrats.

Overall, “67% of voters back a case-by-case pardon,” one that “presumably would not include those charged with violence.”

Cable news hosts and deranged Dems have been screaming “INSURRECTION” for four years and the rest of us are like:

Prior to his being re-elected, Trump took this obviously very sensible approach to J6:

I am inclined to pardon many of them. I can’t say for every single one because a couple of them, probably, they got out of control.

This is pretty easy stuff: If you committed violence of some kind during the January 6 incident, you were probably due for some time.

If you just, you know, wandered around the Capitol amid the craziness …

… you’re probably due for a pardon.
