“Oppenheimer” star Emma Dumont has changed her name and says she is “transgender” and “non-binary” now.

Dumont, 30, played Cillian Murphy’s sister-in-law Jackie in the film.

The actress is now going by “Nick Dumont” and changed her pronouns on Instagram to “They/Them.”

Though the changes are evident on her social media accounts, Dumont has not officially issued a statement about the matter.

Dumont will reportedly continue working in Hollywood under the name “Emma,” despite the changes she has made on social media.

TMZ reports:

We reached out to a rep for Dumont who tells TMZ …”They identify as a trans masculine non-binary person. Their work name is still going to be Emma Dumont, but they will go by Nick with friends and family.”

Dumont’s career has taken off in recent years … with Emma scoring major roles in Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Licorice Pizza” and Marvel’s TV series “The Gifted.”

Dumont’s next film, “The New Me, ” does not yet have a release date.

“Beyond acting and the arts, Dumont is also passionate about mechanical engineering and computer programming,” the Daily Mail reports. “A Mensa member and former participant in FIRST Robotics, they continue to mentor young people in the program.”
