Joe Biden’s hopes of having a sprawling presidential library have taken a massive hit. Recent reports indicate that Democrat donors are withholding their contributions over anger swirling around his pardon of Hunter Biden.

Axios notes that they spoke with “top Democrats” who are so livid over “Biden’s abrupt, clumsy pardon of his son” that they are tightening their grip on their wallets.
“If they had their s**t together, they would have been doing the work on this over the summer — right after he announced he was stepping aside,” one connected source told the outlet. “Now, it’s just too late. Hopefully, they are rightsizing their expectations and budget!”
Now, if you’re like me, you’re probably wondering what a Biden presidential library might look like. Perhaps, when you walk through the double front doors, you will see a Corvette parked in the main vestibule, the back seat stacked with classified documents.
Does the library close at noon? Or can members simply call a lid at that time, retire to the nap-time break room, and indulge in some free pudding pops?
Maybe a room where you can skinnydip in front of Secret Service agents or randomly sniff people. The possibilities are endless.
Journalist Mark Halperin had some notion of what the Biden presidential library might look like, revealing his thoughts in a discussion with Fox News host Jesse Watters.
Mark Halperin tells Jesse Watters that Joe Biden’s presidential library might end up looking more like a “bookmobile.”

“This library — Is he even going to get it?” Watters asked.
“I mean, there’ll be some version,” Halperin replies. “It might be more like a bookmobile than an actual library.”
Watters broke out in laughter as Halperin notes that struggling to raise funds for anything, let alone his own presidential library, has never really been Biden’s forte. Doing so when his allies are p***ed off at him will only make matters worse.
“The donors are really annoyed,” Halperin contends.
Joe Biden Has Pardoned Hunter Biden, Administration Lied to Everyone for Years
The Axios report notes that the Hunter Biden pardon isn’t the only issue for Democrat donors; it’s the fact that Biden opted to run for reelection, forcing them to continue the cover-up into his mental decline.
“Biden, 82, will limp away from the limelight — widely disliked by the public, and now loathed by many Democrats who blame him for twin sins of selfishness: running again, then pardoning Hunter after repeatedly saying he wouldn’t,” they write.
Halperin, though, contends that these donors and Democrat officials who continued the charade that President Biden had the cognitive ability to keep chugging along are equally to blame. They also ignored the obvious rigging of the Democrat nomination process.
But they don’t want to accept any level of responsibility for that.
“I will say that the donors and the Democrat officials who are now so outraged about the conduct … the press knew all this, so did they,” he countered. “They stood silent when Joe Biden’s operatives crushed Bobby Kennedy and Dean Phillips and rigged the rules.”

“They stood silent as he stayed in the race and decided he was going to run for another term. They stood silent when Kamala Harris was given the nomination without a shot being fired,” Halperin added.
“So, I get why they’re mad at Joe Biden, but I think a lot of them need to turn the clock back and imagine what they might have done differently.”
President Biden spoke about where he might have his library back in July, suggesting First Lady Dr. Jill Biden had urged him to start thinking about it.
“She said, ‘Joe, have you decided on your library?'” Biden recalled. “I said, ‘I have no idea where I’ve got — I mean — and I don’t think I’m supposed to, while I’m president, think about the library.'”
If he can’t raise the funds, he might not have to think about it anymore. Fittingly, the idea of a presidential library for Joe Biden will have completely collapsed, just like his presidency.
