Pete Hegseth, Donald Trump’s nominee to be Secretary of Defense, was on Capitol Hill on Thursday meeting with Senators. In between meetings, he took a moment to address the press. By address, I mean to point out in a passionate fashion how much they suck at life.

They’re trying to Kavanaugh him. Accusing him of sexual assault didn’t stick, so they have switched to calling him a drunk and digging up any anonymous source they can find who claims they saw him with a beer in his hand.

The future Defense Secretary has had enough.

I don’t answer to anyone in this group, none of you … As long as Donald Trump wants me in this fight, I’m gonna be standing right here in this fight, fighting to bring our Pentagon back to what it needs to be.

The hit pieces continued yesterday, with the Washington Post being both the most ridiculous and offensive. TWO alleged anonymous Fox News employees found it jarring to see Hegeseth drink warm beer after a segment — wait for it — on St. Patrick’s Day.

CNN found this to be so important that they discussed it every hour on the network.

And also, the two bronze stars Hegseth was awarded? WaPo says they are no big deal because everybody gets them.

I supported Pete Hegseth before. I think he’ll do a great job at the Defense Department and will undo the last four years of incompetence. Now, I just want to see him get the job to be spiteful. The left and the media (but I repeat myself) got their scalp with Matt Gaetz. That was their freebie.

A line in the sand needs to be drawn. If they get Hegseth, they’ll just go after RFK Jr, Tulsi Gabbard, Kash Patel, etc.
