In U.S. v. Skrmetti, the Biden-Harris administration seeks to strike down Tennessee’s law restricting “transgender” procedures for minors. As Steve noted the case has revealed that the World Professional Association of Transgender Health (WPATH), has taken direction from Admiral Rachel Levine, Biden’s Assistant Secretary For Health. The admiral is on record that cross-sex hormones, puberty blockers, are gender reassignment surgeries are “medically necessary, safe, and effective for trans and non-binary youth.” Some prominent medical professionals don’t think so.
According to Dr. Maddie Deutsch, medical director for transgender care at UC San Francisco, stepping up feminizing hormones “will not necessarily bring about faster changes, but it could endanger your health.” According to the Mayo Clinic, “some of the changes triggered by gender-affirming hormone therapy cannot be reversed” and others may require surgery.
The Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) warns that the risks to vaginoplasty include vaginal stenosis, narrowing of the vaginal canal, and “a second surgery is often required to fix it.” There is also a chance of injuring the rectum during surgery, and the possibility of fistula, a rare connection between body parts such as the vagina and rectum. “If you see fecal matter (poop) coming from the vagina,” OHSU explains, “you may have a fistula and should tell us right away.” This recalls Dr. Ergon Spengler (Harold Ramis) warning fellow ghostbusters that “crossing the streams” is bad.
In a penectomy, according to the Cleveland Clinic, “the entire penis, including the root that goes into the pelvis, is removed.” The urethra is rerouted to a spot in the perineum, the area between the scrotum and anus, so “you’ll need to sit when you urinate.” No word whether Richard Levine had the tuck-and-roll job before rebranding as Rachel. On the other hand, the admiral bears strong resemblance to the transvestite Dr. Robbert Elliot (Michael Caine) who as “Bobbie” slashes up Kate Miller (Angie Dickinson) in Dressed to Kill. Levine is wrong that these procedures are safe, and Tennessee would seem to have a strong case in banning the butchery. The state also has laws against murder, which “trans” shooter Audrey Hale violated.
On March 27, 2023 in Nashville, Hale shot dead nine-year-olds Evelyn Dieckhaus, William Kinney and Hallie Scruggs, along with adults Katherine Koonce, custodian Mike Hill and teacher Cynthia Peak. The FBI, which failed to prevent the mass murder and played no role in the takedown of Hale, still opposes full release of the murderer’s manifesto.
Trump FBI pick Kash Patel (Government Gangsters: The Deep State, the Truth, and the Battle for Our Democracy) must get the FBI out of the censorship business. Trump HHS pick RFK Jr. (The Real Anthony Fauci) should send Levine packing on day one. If the admiral keeps his uniform, the Bolivian navy might have an opening.
