Yes, I did just write “transsurrection” in a headline.
15 people were arrested by Capitol Police and charged with illegally protesting in violation of city code against “crowding, obstructing, or incommoding.”
This was the second day of this nonsense. Here was day one:
The wokies say it’s “bigotry” to ban men from the ladies’ room.
A decade ago, I would have argued about why it isn’t bigotry and attempted to appeal to common sense.
But now it’s 2024 and I’ve been called every name in the book, so sure, let’s go with bigotry!
That word comes from the French “bigoterie,” which means “sanctimoniousness.”
We often think of sanctimony as a negative thing because usually combine it with someone who doesn’t live by their own lofty standards. But being sanctimonious doesn’t actually mean you are a hypocrite. It means you are pursuing sacredness, holiness, and virtuousness. You want to order yourself in a right way and pursue what is noble and true.
In order to order yourself in this way, you must reject falsehoods and depravity. In other words, you must be intolerant of bad things – the stupid, profane, dangerous, and grotesque.
So yeah, when it comes to dudes in dresses having access to my wife, daughters, and mom in the bathroom, I’m a bigot.
The biggest bigot of them all, probably!
Stay out of the ladies’ restroom or go to jail, creeps.
If your autonomy means violating women’s autonomy and you keep insisting that it is your right to violate women in this way – well, you won’t like what comes next.
I’ll leave it at that.
