Since there is no such thing as a sex change, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has decided to ban men from competing in women’s sports, even when those men claim to feel some type of way.

According to The Post Millennial:

On Wednesday, the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) announced an update to their Gender Policy for Competition Eligibility, banning biological males who went through puberty from playing alongside women, regardless of their gender identity. The new policy will go into effect in the 2025 season.

So what about the men who went on puberty blockers at a young age? Are we just supposed to pretend those are not males? Because regardless, they still have a biological and physical advantage but that is neither here nor there.

Under the new policy, “athletes who are assigned female at birth are eligible to compete on the LPGA Tour, Epson Tour, Ladies European Tour, and in all other elite LPGA competitions,” a press release from the organization stated. Biological male players can be allowed to play if they “have not experienced any part of male puberty either Beyond Tanner Stage 2 or after age 12 (whichever comes first).”

So this is the best these people can do to play both sides.

Pathetic. Just pathetic.

Those transgender players must show that they have “continuously maintained the concentration of testosterone in their serum below 2.5 nmol/L” and must continue to maintain this level as long as they wish to be eligible to play.

Here’s a thought: How about banning anyone with a Y chromosome?!? What about that? It’s still possible for men to compete against women and it’s unclear if this is supposed to be considered a “win,” especially because none of this would have been possible 10 years ago.

It’s unclear why society is somehow pretending this is complicated, as it’s so simple even cavemen understood the assignment. So while this may be a step in the right direction, it’s not good enough, as the LPGA is doing what it can to appease both sides.
