Acting Secret Service director Ronald Rowe and Rep. Pat Fallon, R-Texas, got into a heated exchange during a hearing about the two assassination attempts against President-elect Trump.
Fallon criticized Rowe for waiting days before he visited the site where Trump shot on July 13 in Butler, PA.
During the hearing, he displayed a photo showing the acting director close to Trump instead of his security detail when he was in New York for the anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
“Who is usually at an event like this closest to the president of the United States?” Fallon asked. “Were you the special agent in charge of the detail that day?”
