Although NYC Mayor Eric Adams may be saying the right things now, he still oversaw one of New York’s worst immigration crises. And while it remains unclear what his motives are, he seems to believe sanctuary cities are no longer a good thing, as he pathetically failed the people he took an oath to represent.

He must indeed be desperate, as it takes a very weak type of individual to allow “760,000 illegals living in New York City” while “almost 60,000 have criminal charges or are convicted criminals.” Those are numbers no one thought would ever be possible, yet here we are, as Adams has beat everyone’s expectations.

But to be fair, it was not all his fault. None of this could have been possible without the help of Sleepy Joe, Kamala, and their failure of an administration. However, what did he expect when he declared NYC to be a sanctuary for illegal aliens? Surely, it was not 760,000 illegals living rent-free in The Big Apple, could it have been?

According to the Free Beacon, “In October 2021, when Adams was running for office, he declared that “New York City will remain a sanctuary city under an Adams administration.” However, the left always eats their own words, as proven but the fact that the “only standards they have are double standards.”

Nonetheless, the point remains, he should be doing everything he possibly can to end the mess he oversaw. Yet, the best he seems to be doing is stroking Trump’s ego, hoping someone will clean it all up for him. But hey, at least he seems to be saying all the correct things now, right?
