As the world heads into the Christmas season, one comedian’s topical bit on song lyrics is resurfacing.

Stand-up comedian Tom Cotter went viral in 2022 after taking note of America’s hypocritical “canceling” of Christmas classic “Baby, It’s Cold Outside,” a musical piece leftists claim puts “male sexual aggression” on display. To fully demonstrate just how ridiculous that was, Cotter compared the lyrics of that age-old holiday jam to the award-winning hip-hop song “WAP” by Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion, which dominated the music charts the same year.

“What really killed me was last Christmas, we canceled a song that was written in the 1940s called ‘Baby, It’s Cold Outside.’ People were triggered by that song, radio stations wouldn’t play it, they said it had toxic masculinity in it and they said that the lyrics had suggestions of male sexual aggression which is fine if you feel that way,” Cotter said, setting up his joke. “But at the exact same time, the number one song in this nation for over two months was entitled ‘Wet A** P***y’ ladies and gentlemen, I’m not making that up. Google it, check me out on that I’m not lying.”

“For over two months, the number one song was played on the Grammys and also won the Best Hip-Hop Song for the American Music Awards and the People’s Choice Awards and so I thought it would be fun to compare and contrast the lyrics of these two songs to see if, indeed, this country has lost its f**king mind.”

He read the song lyrics aloud, starting with the Christmas classic.

“I really can’t stay, baby, it’s cold outside. I gotta go away, baby it’s cold outside. This evening has been so very nice,” he read, switching to the rap song. “Yeah, you f**king with some we a** p***y. Bring a bucket and a mop for this wet a** p***y. Beat it up n-word. Extra large, extra hard. Put this p***y in your face, swipe your nose like a credit card.”

The comparison continues, and X users loved it:
