As it turns out there are indeed people who are above the law now that President Joe Biden has issued a sweeping and unconditional pardon to his son Hunter Biden, and he may not be the only one.

The outgoing Democrat’s reneging on his pledge not to do it went out the window with all of the posturing about respect for the law by giving Hunter Biden clemency for any crimes he “has committed or may have committed” during a decade-long period.

You knew that it was going to happen that members of Biden’s party who have no moral compass would be his apologists for the egregious act, but some have taken it further by calling for preemptive pardons for members of the regime and the lawfare thugs.

The regime’s mouthpieces in the media floated the trial balloon that there are people who need to be protected from accountability once the Justice Department shifts back to the business of law enforcement, with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins and Van Jones suggesting that Biden should just go for it and fire off a flurry of pardons.

Jones said, “If you’re going to do it, don’t just do it for your son. There are a lot of people who the Trump administration might go after, protect them…”

Jill Wine-Banks, another Watergate fossil who’s been able to hang around way past her sell-by date thanks to MSNBC, also called for Biden to pardon Jack Smith and his lawfare crew, and maybe save one for himself as well.

“I hope that President Biden will also issue preemptive pardons to all of those people threatened by the injustice of what will become the Department of Justice in the Trump administration,” she told Jonathan Capehart. “That, of course, includes Jack Smith and all of his staff, many Department of Justice lawyers.”

“It includes President Biden himself, although we don’t know that anyone can legally pardon themselves,” she added.

Last month, “The View” co-host Ana Navarro urged Biden to pardon his crooked son, and also a few others including J6 committee members Adam Kinzinger and malicious actor Liz Cheney, who had better be hoping for “preemptive clemency” considering her skullduggery.

It would be one thing if it was just media talking heads shooting off their mouths, but it’s also coming from Democrat members of Congress.

“I think that without question, Trump is going to try to act in a dictatorial way, in a fascistic way, in a revengeful [way his] first year … towards individuals who he believes harmed him,” Sen. Ed Markey (D-MA) told Boston Public Radio.

“If it’s clear by January 19th that [revenge] is his intention, then I would recommend to President Biden that he provide those preemptive pardons to people because that’s really what our country is going to need next year,” the senator added.

“How many more pardons are coming for Biden family members and others?” Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) asked in an X post after Hunter’s pardon. “It’s a long time to Jan 20th.”
