Joe Biden capped off the long Thanksgiving weekend by serving up a shocking pardon to his son Hunter Biden, something that he denied he would do.

On Sunday evening, the outgoing president announced that he was granting clemency to his 54-year-old progeny, a convicted felon and alleged ex-crackhead who is at the center of the Biden family’s web of corruption, a “miscarriage of justice” and a middle finger to America on his way out the door.

President-elect Donald J. Trump was among those reacting with outrage, asking where the pardon is for Biden’s political prisoners, the conservative protesters who were rounded up and jailed for being present at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021, when an election integrity protest spun out of control.

“Does the Pardon given by Joe to Hunter include the J-6 Hostages, who have now been imprisoned for years? Such an abuse and miscarriage of Justice!” Trump wrote in a post to Truth Social.

In a White House statement from Biden, he referenced the tax and gun charges that Hunter Biden was convicted on this year, claiming that he was “treated differently” and was “unfairly singled out only because he is my son – and that is wrong.”

“Here’s the truth: I believe in the justice system, but as I have wrestled with this, I also believe raw politics has infected this process and it led to a miscarriage of justice – and once I made this decision this weekend, there was no sense in delaying it further. I hope Americans will understand why a father and a President would come to this decision,” Biden wrote.

But Biden’s statement seems to be using the DOJ’s prosecutions as a smokescreen because his statement also says that the pardon applies to all “offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014, through December 1, 2024, including but not limited to all offenses charged or prosecuted.”

The ten-year timespan begins in 2014, the year that Hunter Biden was given a cushy job on the board of Ukrainian energy giant Burisma Holdings despite his having zero experience in the gas and energy business. It was a gig that years later would draw scrutiny from GOP House lawmakers during their investigation of Biden’s foreign influence peddling and bribery.

X users suggested that Biden’s pardon is about far more than what he claims is the unfair prosecution of his son on the tax and gun charges.

By pardoning Hunter Biden for any of his activities in Ukraine, the “Big Guy” also protects himself and that is truly a miscarriage of justice.

How bad does the pardon stink? Even Democrats and their propagandists are unable to spin it away with CNN saying, “Biden’s pardon of his son pours fuel on Trump’s claims of politicized justice.”
