Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter on Sunday not only for the crimes he was convicted of or pled guilty to — he gave him a blanket pardon for any possible crimes for 11 years from Jan. 1, 2014, to Dec. 1, 2014.

The IRS whistleblowers involved in his case have issued a statement skewering Joe Biden’s pardon and calling out what they have been put through and the “special privilege of the powerful.”

“No amount of lies or spin can hide the simple truth that the Justice Department nearly let the President’s son off the hook for multiple felonies. We did our duty, told the truth, and followed the law. Anyone reading the President’s excuses now should remember that Hunter Biden admitted to his tax crimes in federal court, that Hunter Biden’s attorneys have targeted us for our lawful whistleblower disclosures, and that we are suing one of those attorneys for smearing us with false accusations.

“President Biden has the power to put his thumb on the scales of justice for his son, but at least he had to do it with a pardon explicitly for all the world to see rather than his political appointees doing it secretly behind the scenes. Either way it is a sad day for law abiding taxpayers to witness this special privilege for the powerful.”

They put everything on the line to tell the truth and were allegedly persecuted for it. Meanwhile, Hunter takes a walk.

We all knew it was coming despite the lies of Biden and his administration. The lies were only about helping his election chances, and once that didn’t matter anymore, then he would pardon him.

But Joe Biden showed how little respect he has for us with the pardon.

On top of that, investigative reporter Catherine Herridge explained how even in the pardon itself, there was a big problem with what Joe Biden said. Biden claimed that his son was selectively prosecuted, which was nonsense. If anything, the “selectiveness” was in not pursuing him for the raft of other behavior the laptop revealed.

Biden says:

Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions, but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties, are typically given non-criminal resolutions. It is clear that Hunter was treated differently.

But as Herridge notes, there’s an inaccuracy there if you look at what the whistleblowers told her.

After assurances that no pardon was forthcoming….

The accuracy of the White House statement is also questionable based on our recent interview with IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler.

Listen carefully as Ziegler explains a critical timeline in the IRS felony tax case.

WHY NOW? Hunter Biden sentencing for felony gun + tax convictions scheduled for later this month.

Ziegler alleges that Hunter admitted in his book that he filed “false tax returns when he was newly sober.”

So even in the wording of the pardon, what Joe Biden is trying to sell us is malarkey, after lying that he wouldn’t pardon his son.
