A British outlet published a report that President-elect Donald J. Trump was going to issue an executive order to purge transgenders from the military, it turns out that it was more fake news.
The incoming president’s team denied that any decisions had been made regarding the transgender problem in the Armed Forces, casting doubt on the veracity of the sources quoted by the Times in its bombshell report that came amid a vicious smear campaign against Trump’s Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth.
“These unnamed sources are speculating and have no idea what they are actually talking about,” Trump spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt said in a statement. “No decisions on this issue have been made. No policy should ever be deemed official unless it comes directly from President Trump or his authorized spokespeople.”
The soon-to-be 47th president is “planning an executive order that would lead to the removal of all transgender members of the US military,” according to the UK-based outlet, which based its reporting on anonymous sources, now the standard for the fact-challenged journalistic profession, whether it be foreign or domestic.
The Times went on to quote its unnamed sources described as being “familiar with Trump’s plans” who opined on the negative impact that such a ban would have at a time when the military is already suffering from a recruiting crisis from the Biden regime’s shift of focus to “woke” indoctrination in the ranks, a mandate that has devastated morale.
“These people will be forced out at a time when the military can’t recruit enough people,” one source quoted by the Times said. “Only the Marine Corps is hitting its numbers for recruitment and some people who will be affected are in very senior positions.”
According to the outlet, the transgenders would be given medical discharges.
As American Wire noted when the story first broke, “The report should be taken with a grain of salt considering the smear campaign against Hegseth, at least until it is confirmed by sources willing to put their names on record.”
One big giveaway that the report could have been disinformation is the timing.
Trump’s tapping of the Fox News personality – a decorated combat veteran – to head up the Pentagon immediately set off howls of outrage that an outsider would be brought in at a time when reforms are badly needed, not the least of which is the morale problem since Biden installed black Raytheon lobbyist Lloyd Austin whose tenure as been nothing short of a catastrophe.
Under Austin, the military has been forced to go “woke” and has become a haven for transgender individuals, many of whom are looking to get their sex changes paid for by Uncle Sam, meaning that the American taxpayer is footing the bill. There was also the witch hunt for the mythical “white supremacists” in uniform undertaken after Biden took office.
Hegseth has been an outspoken critic of the damage done to the military by DEI and the “woke” agenda.
JUST IN: Donald Trump is expected to kick transgender troops out of US military as early as January 20th according to a new report from The Times.
The move would remove about 15,000 transgender active service members.

The alleged transgender purge would be more fodder for the Hegseth smear machine which is also accusing him of being a rapist, having “white supremacist” tattoos, and in the words of one Democrat senator who besmirched his service, not being of a high enough rank to run the Pentagon.
Another indication that the Times story is bogus was the lack of amplification that it received in the domestic media, telling at a time when the transgender issue is back in the headlines after House Republicans banned biological males from using the women’s restrooms when female GOP lawmakers balked at having their privacy violated by a newly elected Democrat cross-dresser.
