The Democratic National Committee is scheduled to hold its election for chair on Feb. 1, the organization announced on Monday.
The committee’s winter meeting will take place at the National Harbor in Maryland starting on Jan. 30 and concluding with the election for chair on Feb. 1.
There will be four candidate forums taking place in January.
Jaime Harrison, the current chair of the DNC, is not running for re-election.
“The DNC is committed to running a transparent, equitable, and impartial election for the next generation of leadership to guide the party forward,” he said.
The Democrats lost control of the Senate, lost the White House and did not not flip the House in the November election.
