Podcaster Joe Rogan accused President Joe Biden and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of trying to “start World War III.”

Referring to Biden having recently approved Zelensky’s request to use long range U.S.-made missiles to attack deep inside Russia, Rogan said on Friday, “How are you allowed to do that when you’re on your way out?” adding, “There should be some sort of pause for significant actions that could potentially start World War III,” according to the New York Post

Zelensky has been asking for the approval to use US-supplied Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) to attack targets in Russia for a long time. Biden finally agreed last week, citing the presence of North Korean troops as the reason.

Britain then approved the use of its similar Storm Shadow missile, according to the outlet.

Russia started this war in February 2022, nearly three years ago, when it invaded Ukraine’s eastern region. The number of killed or wounded in Russia and Ukraine had reached one million, according to a Wall Street Journal report in September of this year.

“Zelensky says Putin is terrified. F–k you, man,” Rogan told Zelensky. “F–k you, people. You people are about to start World War III.

“Maybe that would be a good thing we would like to avoid from a dying former president,” Rogan added, referring to the 82-year-old Biden.

Russia has since warned that its new missile, which can carry a nuclear weapon, could be used against the US, and has warned of the possibility of a nuclear strike in Ukraine.

Rogan is said to be Spotify’s top podcast with 14.5 million followers, a number that probably grew significantly after he hosted then-candidate Donald Trump for nearly three hours in late October leading up to the election in November. It was estimated to have over 20 million views on YouTube.
