A police report detailing the he-said, she-said sexual assault allegation against Defense Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth proves that the allegation is a sham, according to Hegseth’s attorney, Tim Parlatore.

“This police report confirms what I have said all along that the incident was fully investigated and police found the allegations to be false, which is why no charges were filed,” Parlatore told Mediate.

Obtained by the left-wing publication Mediaite, the report states that on Thursday, Oct. 12th, 2017, the Monterey Police Department in California received a call from a nurse at Kaiser Permanente about a woman, “Jane Doe,” who’d come to the hospital requesting a sexual assault examination.

“Jane Doe” claimed that Hegseth had sexually assaulted her during a Republican women’s conference at the Hyatt Hotel in Monterey four to five days earlier.

According to the police report, “Doe” was at the hotel’s bar on the evening of Saturday, Oct. 7th, 2017, when “she observed Hegseth acting inappropriately with the women at the conference.”

“Hegseth would rub the women on their legs and ‘Jane Doe’ thought that his actions were inappropriate,” the report reads.

Later that evening, the two got into an argument by the hotel’s pool concerning Hegseth’s alleged behavior.

The rest of the allegation is noticeably murky, with weird, inexplicable gaps between the alleged victim’s memories, allegedly on account of someone having slipped something in her drink.

“‘Jane Doe’ stated the next memory she had was when she was in an unknown room,” the report reads. “‘Jane Doe’ did not know where she was and how she got to the room. Hegseth was in the room with her.”

“‘Jane Doe’ remembered having her phone and Hegseth inquired to whom ‘Jane Doe’ was texting. Hegseth took her phone from her hands. ‘Jane Doe’ stated she got up and tried to leave the room, but Hegseth blocked the door with his body. ‘Jane Doe’ remembered saying ‘no’ a lot,” the report continues.

Eventually and somehow — none of it is explained — “Jane Doe” found herself on a bed or couch with a bare-chested Hegseth hovering over her face with his dog tags.

“The next memory ‘Jane Doe’ had was when Hegseth ejaculated on her stomach,” the report reads. “Hegseth threw a towel at her and asked her ‘Are you OK?’ The last memory ‘Jane Doe’ remembered was walking into her room and getting into bed with REDACTED. ‘Jane Doe’ stated she does not remember how she got back to her room.”

The very notion that Hegseth had assaulted/raped her didn’t even occur to her until she returned home on Monday, Oct. 9th. She then waited another three days before going to the hospital to report the alleged rape.

When confronted by the police, Hegseth for his part told an entirely different story, one in which he did nothing wrong.

“Hegseth did not remember being chastised for being too loud and did not remember an argument by the pool,” the police report reads. “Hegseth did not remember being belligerent with anyone.”

But he did remember going back to his hotel room with “Jane Doe,” who he claimed proceeded to sit down inside his room and refuse to leave. What proceeded next was, according to Hegseth, all consensual.

“Hegseth stated there were a couple of times that he made sure ‘Jane Doe’ was comfortable with what was going on between the two of them,” the report reads. “Hegseth stated there was ‘always’ conversation and ‘always’ consensual contact between the two of them.”

After the two had sex, “Jane Doe” — who it turns out was married — came up with an excuse for why she’d not returned to her own room that night.

“‘Jane Doe’ stated she would tell her husband that she’d fallen asleep on a couch in someone else’s room,” the report reads. “Hegseth continuously asked ‘Jane Doe’ if she was okay because he did not want ‘Jane Doe’ to get in trouble.”

It was at this point that “Jane Doe” began to show “early signs of regret,” the police report states, citing Hegseth’s testimony.

Additional Insights

The police report also notes that two separate women at the conference told the cops that Hegseth had inappropriately placed his hand on their legs and asked them to come back to his room. One of the women then asked “Jane Doe” to come over and act as a buffer between them.

The report further notes that a hotel staffer observed the poolside argument between Hegseth and “Jane Doe,” but that the argument ended with “Jane Doe” leading a very drunk Hegseth away, their arms reportedly locked, and with “Doe” having “appeared to be smiling.”
