Bucks County elections board chairman Diane Ellis-Marseglia declared last week that “in this country and people violate laws any time they want.” Apparently expanding on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court “precedent” to which she referred, she explained: “So for me, if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it.” So stating, she voted to count hundreds of deficient mail and provisional ballots (video below). All this to help incumbent Democrat nullity Bob Casey steal the election from Dave McCormick, who won it.

On Monday the Pennsylvania Supreme Court reiterated its reading of Pennsylvania law and instructed the county boards to knock off the counting of noncompliant ballots. The justices were not amused by Ellis-Marseglia and her likes.

Yesterday Ellis-Marseglia revised and extended her remarks in classic fashion (video below): Dobbs made her do it. In the realm of excuses, it may exceed the dog ate my homework for lame implausibility. Suffice it to say that it was difficult to follow her train of thought before and it remains so now.
