Police are on the hunt for a man seen destroying flags in the wake of President-elect Donald Trump’s victory.
The suspect is described as being around six feet tall, wearing a ski mask, and has long blonde hair. He has reportedly struck four homes, and one homeowner claims he’s hit her house more than once. Krystal Uresk spoke to KSL-TV about the attacks and how she is retaliating against the politically-motivated property destruction.
“That’s not how you should act as a person,” she said after the man visited her home twice. “This is other people’s property.”
Not only did these events prompt Uresk to install two security cameras, but she also put up a replacement flag. The man returned to cut down the new flag and also the American flag.
“He cut down the other Trump flag that I put up, and then the American flag, which kind of made me really mad,” she said. Video of the suspect was turned over to police who released it to the public in hopes of identifying him.

Not only did Uresk replace the second Trump flag, but she says she added more flags to spite the vandal.
Meanwhile, other homes have been targeted as well. Cole Warner claims he lost an American flag, presumably in the same manner.
“I have mixed feelings because, like, in one sense, it’s not really a big deal. It’s a flag. It didn’t cost that much or whatever. On the other one is it’s invasive,” he said.
In the same area, another neighbor had their property attacked, but this time the suspect went a step further and spray-painted profanities and a reference to fascism on their garage door.
Police indicate that the suspect usually goes out after midnight, and to contact authorities if they have any leads on his identity or whereabouts.
