Billionaire Elon Musk is having fun on Twitter after 45th President Donald Trump has been declared the winner of the presidential race.

“The people of America gave @realDonaldTrump a crystal clear mandate for change tonight,” Musk wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“America is a nation of builders. Soon, you will be free to build,” he tweeted.

Musk invested even more money into his pro-Trump political action committee and other Republican groups in the first half of October, increasing the substantial amount he contributed to this election cycle.

National Review reported that “Musk donated almost $44 million more to America PAC and $10 million to the Senate Leadership Fund, a super PAC linked to Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R., Ky.), newly available federal records show.”

The outlet added: “He also poured over $2 million into the Sentinel Action Fund, a conservative Super PAC active on the ground in Pennsylvania.”

Sentinel Action Fund president Jessica Anderson said on X: “Thank you @elonmusk for catching the early vote/ absentee vision! This contribution closes the gap in PA. Let’s go win!”

Should former President Donald Trump retake the White House, having a GOP-controlled Senate will enable him to continue nominating and placing constitutionalists on federal courts and, if needed, the U.S. Supreme Court.

With these contributions, Musk has now donated close to $120 million to America PAC, a group focused on registering and mobilizing Republican voters in critical swing states. In addition to Musk’s sizable contribution, the DeVos family has added $2 million, while investor Nelson Peltz has contributed $1 million to the effort.

This level of spending has positioned Musk as one of the most significant political donors in this election cycle. However, it constitutes only a small portion of Musk’s estimated $243 billion fortune, making him the richest person in the world.

America PAC is offering a daily prize of $1 million to registered voters in swing states who sign a petition in support of First and Second Amendment rights. The Biden-Harris Justice Department has suggested that the awards could violate federal election laws, and Democrats have urged an investigation. Musk has argued that the giveaways are not aimed at registering anyone.

Meanwhile, Musk has used his purchase of the X social media platform to generate about 3.3 billion views raising concerns about election security risks since January of this year, making the tech entrepreneur one of the most ubiquitous voices on elections during the 2024 campaign.

“An analysis of nearly 17,000 of Musk’s posts from this year, as well as thousands more he replied to or reposted, found 361 posts specifically on the topic of potential election fraud in U.S. elections. Although these election posts represent a small fraction of the dozens of posts Musk publishes each day, each one had an average of 9.3 million views as Musk continues to be the most followed profile on X,” CBS News reported.

Musk’s massive Twitter account has liberals worried that his reach and power will tip the election in favor of former President Donald Trump and Republicans.

“The tech entrepreneur said that he voted Republican for the first time in a Texas congressional race in June 2022. A month later, he wrote that he thought it was time ‘for Trump to hang up his hat.’ Over the next two years, posts criticizing President Biden and the prosecution of Trump became more frequent,” CBS reported.

“On July 13, 2024, the day of the first attempted assassination of Trump, Musk announced his formal endorsement of the Republican candidate for a second term. Since then, his posts have shown full-throated support for Trump,” the report added.

America PAC, which aims to mobilize voters in closely contested states that could determine the election outcome, spent approximately $72 million during the July-September period, according to disclosures filed with the Federal Election Commission.
