Van Jones and a CNN panel had a meltdown over former President Donald Trump’s problems with a microphone at a campaign rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Host Abby Phillip showed video footage of the Republican presidential nominee which she called “obscene,” prompting an even more animated reaction from Jones who declared Trump was “fellating a microphone.”

“That’s just — it‘s obscene. I mean, it is,” Phillip insisted to the CNN panel after viewing the clip which they purported showed the former president simulating performing a ‘sex act.’

“But he‘s running for president, right? So is he doing this stuff because he doesn’t care? Is he doing it because, as Shermichael says, ‘I think nobody cares?’” she asked.

Barreling into the final days before Election Day, Trump made multiple campaign stops over the last few days and seemed to be experiencing technical problems with microphones.

Trump complained about the microphone being too low, telling the crowd, “I came in today, I said, and, you know, this is after four of these things I’ve been in all fairness. I mean, I’m a human being, right? I come in, and here’s the problem…”

“Way too low,” he said as he demonstrated how the mic on the podium was set too low and he had to bend over to speak into it.

“Could it be that he actually doesn‘t want to be president?” Jones snarked as the panel laughed before Republican analyst Scott Jennings questioned the validity of their criticism.

“Wouldn’t it be interesting if it turned out he’s doing everything he can not to be president! And he still winds up winning?! Because you can‘t tell me that fellating a microphone is in anybody‘s playbook for anything!” Jones added. “Am I wrong?!”

Jennings interjected to ask, “Is that what he was doing? Are we sure about this?”

“Oh my God,” Phillip reacted.

“If we have to question two days before the election whether or not the president was fellating a microphone, we might have lost the plot!” Jones said.

“That‘s where you all went,” Jennings pointed out. “Look, he‘s well known to be very, very picky about the microphones and the audio. He was obviously complaining that the thing was too short.”

“Why was he putting his mouth on it?” one panelist asked, prompting Jennings to fire back, “I’m just saying, I don‘t know what he was doing.”

“The point is, here we are 48 hours before the election. There’s a lot of spin going on,” Phillip concluded.
