Actress Drea de Matteo is being praised for her courage in speaking out about Hollywood even though many of the liberals in Tinseltown will not be happy.

The star who played Adriana La Cerva on HBO’s ‘The Sopranos’ spoke with Variety about coming out as a supporter of former President Donald Trump and revealed that “half of Hollywood” is voting for the Republican nominee.

The 52-year-old voted for President Joe Biden in 2020, the first time she had voted in a presidential election in her life, according to Variety which noted how de Matteo ” became persona non grata among the Hollywood set” after questioning the COVID vaccine. Her refusal to get vaxxed cost her friends and she was dropped by her agent.

“To be demonized over a medical choice when they keep screaming, ‘Pro-choice,’ I’m like, ‘Do you guys hear yourselves?’” the single mother of two said of the shift in her life and career which prompted her to launch an OnlyFans page.

The actress went “scorched earth” on her colleagues in the interview, taking shots at Hollywood’s Kamala Harris supporters such as asking if Sean Penn is “a CIA asset.”

“I am so disappointed in him. I don’t even know that I can watch him as an actor anymore. When he brought that Oscar to [Volodymyr] Zelenskyy in Ukraine, I was mortified,” she said.

But de Matteo was “just warming up,” according to the outlet.

“You have like Billie Eilish saying, ‘I feel safer with Kamala as president.’ But why? Because you have six security guards around you every day when you walk down the street,” she noted. “My daughter has nobody walking around with her when she walks down the street in New York City. Because I see what’s going on. Or even here in California, my kids are not allowed to go anywhere because of how bad crime is right now.”

“I’m looking at Bette Midler talking about reproductive rights ad nauseam,” she continued. “They’re worried about this issue. When we’re on the brink of world war, you want to talk about your daughters? What about the boys? What about our sons that are going to have to go off to war at some point? And they want to take your daughters, too.”

Expressing that she is still staunchly pro-choice, de Matteo also called out Hollywood for ignoring former Vice President Dick Cheney’s past after he endorsed Harris.

“Every time a celebrity endorses her, I reiterate that they stand with Dick Cheney,” de Matteo said.

“De Matteo knows that voicing these views is an act of self-immolation when it comes to her future film and TV prospects,” Variety noted. “But de Matteo doesn’t care.”

“The people I’m around, a lot of liberals are voting for Trump. I think half of Hollywood is actually voting for Trump,” she said. “I know that I’ve gotten plenty of messages in my Inbox: ‘Thank you for saying things I can’t say.’”

Social media users were also thankful for her honesty and outspokenness.
