Democrat presidential nominee, Vice President Kamala Harris, just got a tough break in an important swing state from one of the “Squad” members that she has supported.

Democrat Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib said she will not endorse the Democrat nominee as she takes on former President Donald Trump, The Detroit News reported.

On Friday, at a United Auto Workers union rally, the firebrand Democrat would not endorse the vice president and decided to focus on the other votes on the ticket.

“Don’t underestimate the power you all have,” the representative said. “More than those ads, those lawn signs, those billboards, you all have more power to turn out people that understand we’ve got to fight back against corporate greed in our country.”

“We’ve got to make sure that the nonpartisan part of the ballot gets filled in,” she said.

She also attacked the Republican nominee for president, former President Donald Trump, in a post on X, formerly Twitter.

“Trump is a proud Islamophobe + serial liar who doesn’t stand for peace,” she said. “The reality is that the Biden admin’s unconditional support for genocide is what got us here. This should be a wake-up call for those who continue to support genocide. This election didn’t have to be close.”

A fellow “Squad” member, New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, was with her at the rally where she did endorse the vice president.

“This is the place where miracles happen,” she said, “and this is the place that is going to deliver a Kamala Harris presidency, right here in the state of Michigan.”

“I want to be from a place that is proud to get our hands dirty and to knock on a door and to fix our own cars and to make sure we know what it means to be an everyday person,” the representative said.

“I love to be from a place where people don’t forget where they came from,” she said.

The vice president, and before her President Joe Biden, have struggled with the important Arab vote in the crucial state of Michigan.

Former President Trump received an endorsement that could shift the entire election against Harris.

Hamtramck, Mich., Mayor Amer Ghalib, who is a Muslim, appeared on stage with the former president in October, where he gave him his endorsement, The Detroit News reported.

“As you know, President Trump keeps saying that our country is in decline, and the ship is sinking. So sometimes it’s wise enough to sail against the wave so we can get to the shore safely under the leadership of President Trump and that’s why I endorsed President Trump in this area in Wayne County,” the mayor, who heads a city with the first all-Muslim city council in the United States, said.

“We had a history of disconnect and miscommunication with the Republican Party and the party of common sense. Now we are here to end that disconnect,” the mayor, a Democrat who leads the first Muslim-majority city in the nation, said. “And (Trump’s) visit today is to show respect and appreciation for our community,”

When the former president spoke, he said that his Middle East policy would have the goal of achieving peace.

“You know, we all ultimately want one thing. We want peace in the Middle East, and we’re going to get peace in the Middle East,” he said as one man in the crowd shouted, “We trust you!”

The mayor posted on Facebook, cementing his support of the former president.

“President Trump and I may not agree on everything, but I know he is a man of principles,” the mayor said.

“Though it’s looking good, he may or may not win the election and be the 47th president of the United States, but I believe he is the right choice for this critical time. I’ll not regret my decision no matter what the outcome would be, and I’m ready to face the consequences,” he said.

“Now, let the Caravan begin its journey,” he said. “This is just the starting point.”
