While former President Donald Trump and others have responded to President Joe Biden’s “garbage” insult, Donald Trump Jr. found a creative way to troll the 81-year-old Democrat.

The eldest son of the former president used the Halloween holiday to take a jab at Biden after he disparaged half the country as “garbage.” later trying to clean up the mess he created with his slip of the tongue.

He posted a photo with his family as the trick-or-treating began Thursday, wearing a black plastic garbage bag with bits of trash attached.

“Embrace their hate and own it,” Trump Jr. captioned the post he shared on Instagram and X. “Then VOTE!”

“I’m fine being garbage like the rest of you deplorable and irredeemables @ patriots!!! Love you all hope you have a blast tonight!!!” he added.

Garbage-gate began with a joke that fell flat by comic Tony Hinchcliffe at Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally in New York City. He mocked Puerto Rico’s sanitation problem by referring to it as a “floating island of garbage.” In a campaign call at the White House this week, Biden made a reference to the joke in calling out Trump supporters.

“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American,” Biden said as he spoke to the Voto Latino Group.

His remark went viral, prompting a clean-up by the White House and even a statement by the president himself. All while Vice President Kamala Harris held her final campaign rally at the Ellipse in Washington, DC.

The White House’s edit of Biden’s comment drew even more backlash.

Meanwhile, Trump delivered his own epic troll by arriving in Wisconsin for a campaign event on Wednesday wearing an orange safety vest. He hopped aboard a garbage truck that was temporarily converted to a mobile billboard for his campaign.

“This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden,” he said to gathered reporters once he was in the passenger seat.

Trump Jr.’s Halloween costume earned resounding approval on X where many other MAGA supporters showed up with their own response to Biden’s insult.
