Democrats and their shameless corporate propaganda media allies are once again smearing former President Donald Trump over a nothingburger.

Speaking at an event in Arizona this Thursday, the former president bashed disgraced former Rep. Liz Cheney for her war hawkishness by suggesting that she likely wouldn’t be such an unrepentant neocon if her own elitist butt was forced to fight on the battlefield.

“Dick Cheney’s daughter is a very dumb individual,” he began. “She’s a radical war hawk. Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her. Let’s see how she feels about it when the guns  are trained on her face.”

“They’re all war hawks when they’re sitting in Washington in a nice building saying, ‘Oh gee, let’s send 10,000 troops into the mouths of the enemy.’ But she’s a stupid person. And I used to have meetings with a lot of people, and she always wanted to go to war with people,” he added.

Trump supporters and other sane people responded to his words by arguing that he had a point: Maybe Cheney wouldn’t be so quick to send young soldiers off to war if her own butt was on the chopping block.

“Trump serves a great point. If they want war, let them be on the front lines,” one sane person tweeted.

“It’s always fine for people like Cheney to put our youth in that position of danger and fear while they sit in their cozy chair, all smiles not in one ounce of danger. Couldn’t agree more with Trump. Maybe they should experience what they are so willing to do to others,” another added.

The left meanwhile responded the same as usual — with fearmongering, vitriol, distortion, and just plain lies.

Then there’s the shameless legacy press.

“Trump Attacks Liz Cheney Using Violent War Imagery,” a headline from the propagandists at the New York Times reads.

“Trump suggests ‘war hawk’ Liz Cheney should have guns ‘trained on her face,’” a headline from the deranged propagandists at the Washington Post reads.

“Trump on Liz Cheney: ‘Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with nine barrels shooting at her,’” a headline from the racist propagandists at Politico reads.

Over on Twitter/X meanwhile, these low-rent papers’ readers are now shrieking in rage over Trump’s perfectly benign remarks.

Keep in mind that Trump, the man they’re smearing as violent, has already survived two assassination attempts.

Of course, none of this matters to leftists, because in their paranoid delusional fantasy world, the former president is the epitome of all evil and wickedness in the world. Hell, in their minds, he’s pretty much the anti-Christ, if not Satan himself.

And as for Cheney, why she’s just a perfect little angel, don’t you know?
