Leftist Hollywood actress Julia Roberts is facing mockery for starring in a ridiculous pro-Kamala ad encouraging wives to lie to their husbands.

Produced and released by the leftist Christian group Vote Common Good, the ad features Roberts narrating as a wife votes for Vice President Kamala Harris behind her pro-Trump husband’s back.

“In the one place in America where women still have a right to choose, you can vote any way you want, and no one will ever know,” Roberts says in the short 30-second ad. “Remember, what happens in the booth, stays in the booth. Vote Harris-Walz.”

Ever since the ad’s publication earlier this week, criticism has been pouring forth at lightning-fast speed, with detractors bashing the ad for promoting garbage values and morality.

“This ad featuring actress Julia Roberts encourages women to defy or lie to their husbands because the end (abortion) justifies the means,” author and columnist Caryn Sullivan tweeted. “A fitting way to end a campaign marked by dishonesty and false claims of unity.”

“I can’t imagine not knowing my wife well enough to know exactly how she’d vote,” another critic, a male named Jared Bell, tweeted. “I can’t imagine my wife not talking to me about any of these controversial topics. I can’t believe there’s a campaign that encourages women to lie and deceive their husbands.”

According to the Wall Street Journal, Vote Common Good spent roughly $30,000 on the ridiculous ad and plans to play it online and on TV.

Speaking with the Journal, the group’s executive director, Doug Pagitt, claimed he’s heard from many Christian women who’ve felt compelled to vote the same as their husband, family, or community.

“That’s a story we’ve been hearing over and over, especially religious people who may be voting Republican their whole life but can’t bring themselves to do it anymore,” he said.

The ad has also been mocked by the hosts of Fox News’s “The Five“:

Meanwhile, in Hollywood, Roberts’ equally leftist pal George Clooney has been busy narrating an equally absurd, separate Vote Common Good ad ostensibly aimed at working-class men.

The ad shows three men entering a polling station, with one of the three then encouraging the other two to “make America great again.” But just like in Roberts’ ad, the other two men then vote for Harris.

“Before you cast your vote in this election, think about how it will impact the people you care about the most,” Clooney narrates. “Remember, you can vote any way you want, and no one will ever know.”
