It looks like more Israeli spies who are working in American mainstream media (MSM) will be exposed in the coming days, with veteran journalist Alan MacLeod recently exposing one.
In an Oct. 28 post on his X account, MacLeod disclosed that MSNBC executive producer Moshe Arenstein was the aforementioned spy working in the MSM. “If you’re not sure why the media is so biased when it comes to Israel/Palestine, remember that MSNBC‘s executive producer was literally an Israeli military intelligence commander,” he wrote.
Arenstein was previously an intelligence officer of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) from 1984 to 1989. He was an IDF captain who served in field intelligence with specialization in analysis of aerial photography. The former military officer then joined the MSM outlet in August 2016, serving as a senior producer for five months before becoming an executive producer in January 2017.
Earlier, MacLeod wrote about the Israeli spies who are writing America’s news in a piece for MintPress News – where he serves as senior staff writer and podcast producer. One of them was Barak Ravid, a former analyst with Israeli spying agency Unit 8200, who is presently working as a political reporter for Axios and Washington correspondent for Walla. Unit 8200 is Israel’s largest and most controversial spying organization
According to MacLeod, Unit 8200 is Israel’s largest and most controversial spying organization. It has been responsible for several high-profile espionage and terror operations, in addition to the recent pager attack that injured thousands of civilians in Lebanon.
Ravid is not the only Israeli ex-spook operating at top U.S. media outlets and working hard to manufacture Western support for his country’s actions. There are other influential journalists in America with deep connections to the Israeli state.
Shachar Peled spent three years as an officer in Unit 8200 and led a team of analysts in surveillance, intelligence and cyberwarfare. She also worked as a technology analyst for the Israeli intelligence service, Shin Bet.
Following her stints for Tel Aviv, CNN hired Peled as a producer in 2017. She spent three years making segments for Fareed Zakaria and Christiane Amanpour, before being recruited by Big Tech firm Google as its senior media specialist.
Tal Heinrich spent three years as a Unit 8200 agent before serving as the field and news desk producer for CNN‘s pro-Israel Jerusalem Bureau from 2014 to 2017. She is now the official spokesperson of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Tamar Michaelis, a former officials spokesperson for the IDF, now works for CNN – making much of its Israel/Palestine content. According to MacLeod, her hiring serves as another example of the fake news network’s inclination for recruiting Israeli operatives.
Anat Schwartz, an ex-Israeli Air Force intelligence officer with zero journalistic background, was hired by the New York Times (NYT). She co-wrote the notorious and now disgraced “Screams Without Words” expose, which alleged that Hamas fighters sexually violated Israelis during the Oct. 7 terror attack. However, even NYT staffers themselves were outraged over the lack of evidence and fact-checking in the article.
Meanwhile, several NYT employees along with leading columnist David Brooks have had children working in the IDF. Even as they report or provide opinions on the region, the outlet never revealed these obvious conflicts of interest to its readers.
