Late-night Fox News host Greg Gutfeld didn’t mince words on his Friday program, where he lashed out at Michael Keaton after the actor posted a short video last week telling “men” not to attend any of former President Donald Trump’s rallies.
During his monologue, Gutfeld noted, “Democrats’ desperation is so bad they got Beetlejuice on board to tell men not to go to Trump’s rallies,” before playing a clip of Keaton’s post.
“You know, for some of you folks who, guys mostly, I guess, who are thinking about attending a rally with Trump and Musk, they don’t really respect you, they laugh at you behind your back, they think you are stupid,” Keaton charged.
“They don’t want to hang out with you, they have nothing in common with you, they are not your bros, they have no respect for you. Trust me,” he added.
That set Gutfeld off.
“What a f**king idiot,” the host began. “He doesn’t know what the hell he’s talking about, and it’s a cowardly cop-out for he avoids the most obvious question: what about the smart, informed, and successful men who are backing Trump? RFK, Musk, Bill Ackerman, Vivek (Ramaswamy), David Sacks, Dana White, and, of course, Joe Exotic,” he quipped.
“Has Keaton ever asked himself that? It’s a huge blind spot, which is why he chooses to target an unnamed, unknown group of men that he portrays as easily persuadable because he’s so smart and can employ dime-store psychology as if he has a superpower. Because they are so stupid unlike a guy who plays dress-up for a living. Maybe if we say his name three times, he would shut the f**k up,” Gutfeld said, to audience laughter.

Another highly successful man, top-rated podcaster Joe Rogan, also appears to be leaning towards the former president.
During his interview with Trump, which was posted to his Spotify and YouTube accounts on Friday and has garnered more than 33 million views on the latter platform, Rogan praised the billionaire business and real estate mogul for his “comedic instincts” as the two of them discussed his first White House bid.
Rogan noted that Trump is just naturally funny and that he really picked up on that, recalling one of the then-future president’s debates with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton in 2016.
That is significant praise, given that Rogan — in addition to being a podcaster and UFC commentator has been a stand-up comedian for decades. He also starred on the 90s hit sitcom “NewsRadio.”
In particular, Rogan was referencing Trump’s now infamous line he snuck in during a particularly fiery debate segment, where Clinton said, “It’s just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump is not in charge of the law in our country.”
Trump immediately fired back: “Because you’d be in jail.”
Rogan also praised Trump’s ability to be funny working crowds with his impressions of others including President Joe Biden. “It’s funny, its standup,” said Rogan.
There were also many serious moments during the interview, such as when Trump described being president as a “very dangerous business” in reference to a pair of close calls with would-be assassins.
In his nearly three-hour appearance on “The Joe Rogan Experience,” which garnered more than 26 million views around 24 hours after going live, Trump emphasized the dangers associated with the presidency, suggesting that pundits and officials tend to avoid discussing the attempts on his life.
“I do things that don’t necessarily make me so popular. I just do what’s right,” Trump, 78, said. “I understand what I’m doing. You make yourself a target, and it’s a very dangerous business. I never thought of that when I did it.”
