A National Park Service-approved bronzed statue of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s desk on Jan. 6 that includes a pile of poop and an obviously-satirical plaque that in part “honors the brave men and women who broke into the United States Capitol” is now on display on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

The permit for the temporary installation to the federal agency was requested by Julia Jimenez-Pyzik of Civic Crafted LLC, according to USA Today.

“This memorial honors the brave men and women who broke into the United States Capitol on January 6th, 2021, to loot, urinate, and defecate throughout those hallowed halls in order to overturn an election,” read the plaque. “President Trump celebrates these heroes of January 6th as ‘unbelievable patriots’ and ‘warriors.’ This monument stands as a testament to their daring sacrifice and lasting legacy.”

The installation is at the at the base of Capitol Hill, on the east end of the roughly 146-acre grassy stretch that is the National Mall.

Over the weekend, the installation nameplate and a few letters from a plaque had been broken off, according to The Washington Post. But as of Monday, it was unclear whether the missing parts were the result of vandalism.

The installation will remain there until Thursday.
