Delivering a message to “Dream Big Again!” the former president’s jam-packed New York City homecoming sent the left in search of their spin.

Supporters, surrogates, and stars converged on Madison Square Garden Sunday, backing former President Donald Trump in kicking off the final full week of the 2024 election. While they brought a message of hope, eyeing a revitalization of the American dream, rivals, and propagandists couldn’t help but sully the gathering with smears of racism and comparisons to Nazis.

The president himself had closed out his remarks with positivity, telling the crowd of roughly 20,000 people, “We stand on the verge of the four greatest years in the history of the U.S.A. With your help, from now until Election Day, we will restore America’s promise, we will put America first and we will take back the nation that we all love. We bleed the same blood, we share the same home and we salute the same great American flag. We are one people, one family, and one glorious nation under God. We will never give in, we will never give up, we will never, ever back down, and we will never, ever, ever, ever surrender.”

“Together we will ‘Fight! Fight! Fight!’ and we will ‘Win! Win! Win!’” he added.

In addition to speakers that included Tucker Carlson, UFC President Dana White, and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., the president was introduced by his wife, Melania Trump, as she made a rare appearance on the campaign stage to encourage voters.

“Let us charge together with a shared vision that builds on American greatness. Let’s seize this moment and create a country for tomorrow — the future that we deserve,” she told the rally-goers as she welcomed her husband on stage.

While a number of his older children were in attendance, the president noted that his youngest son, Barron Trump, was watching from home as he credited the college freshman for his impact on the campaign, advising on making podcast appearances.

“He’s the king of the Internet.”

Crowd-pleasing appearances came courtesy of the likes of billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk and iconic retired wrestler Hulk Hogan with the former premiering a new hat, adding a new element to “Dark MAGA” that he’d introduced at Trump’s return to Butler, Pennsylvania.

Before proposing cutting the federal budget by “at least $2 trillion,” the world’s richest man pointed to his new hat and said based on the font, “As you can see, I’m not just MAGA — I’m dark gothic MAGA.”

“The energy in this room is incredible,” he continued before encouraging the audience, “We’re gonna get the government off your back and out of your pocketbook.”

“And America’s not just gonna be great. America is gonna reach heights that it has never seen before. The future is gonna be amazing!” promised Musk.

Hogan, who entertained the crowd with his own rendition of Trump’s dance moves, made a point of tearing into the leftist propaganda that had tried to compare the rally to a 1939 gathering of Nazis.

“I don’t see no stinkin’ Nazis in here. I don’t see no stinkin’ domestic terrorist in here. The only thing I see in here are a bunch of hard-working men and women that are real Americans, brother,” he said before pointing to Vice President Kamala Harris’ responsibility for the border crisis and inflation.

The reality of the gathering which also included speeches from Dr. Phil McGraw, former NYC Mayor Rudy Giuliani, and Trump’s childhood friend, David Rem, who slammed Harris for saying “that Jesus Christ’s followers are not welcomed at her rallies,” didn’t stop corporate media outlets from running what many suspected were pre-planned headlines to maintain a narrative days out from the election.

In keeping with the messaging, Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz likened the rally to a Nazi gathering during an event in Henderson, Nevada as he said, “Donald Trump’s got this big rally going at Madison Square Garden. There’s a direct parallel to a big rally that happened in the mid-1930s at Madison Square Garden.”

“And don’t think that he doesn’t know for one second exactly what they’re doing there,” added the Democratic Party’s vice presidential nominee.

Meanwhile, headlines included the New York Times publishing, “Trump at the Garden: A Closing Carnival of Grievances, Misogyny and Racism,” while CNN’s Brian Stelter shared one from his network, “Speakers at Trump rally make racist comments, hurl insults.”
