Democrats and their minions pounced on a poorly received joke by a comic who spoke at former President Donald J. Trump’s massive rally at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Sunday.

Tony Hinchcliffe, who is known for his edgy “roasting” brand of comedy, served up more fodder for the left-wing faux outrage machine when he jabbed Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage” during his remarks. He also referred to the Democrats as the “Diddy Party,” referring to the perverted “Freak Off” parties hosted by jailed rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The podcaster/comic’s dissing of the U.S. territory didn’t get a positive reaction from the crowd at the star-studded event and was quickly seized on by Kamala Harris and her celebrity surrogates to portray the rally as racist, which they would have done anyway regardless of the unintended gift that Hinchcliffe gave them.

As Harris and other Democrats ramped up the furor, the Trump campaign and Republicans distanced themselves from Hinchcliffe’s failed attempt at humor.

“This joke does not reflect the views of President Trump or the campaign,” said senior campaign adviser Danielle Alvarez in a statement.

“This joke bombed for a reason,” Sen. Rick Scott (R-FL) said in a post to X. “It’s not funny and it’s not true. Puerto Ricans are amazing people and amazing Americans! I’ve been to the island many times. It’s a beautiful place. Everyone should visit! I will always do whatever I can to help any Puerto Rican in Florida or on the island.”

Seeking to exploit one bombed line by an obscure comic to reverse her downward spiral in the polls, Harris was all over it, moving quickly to pander to Puerto Ricans with more bribery, just like she recently did with black males who were offered free money in the form of loans they won’t have to pay back and legalized dope.

Harris’ running mate, “Tampon Tim” Walz, and fake outrage AOC took a break from their stupid stunt of trying to appeal to male voters while playing Madden on Twitch to slam Hinchcliffe over his bombed joke.

Rich pro-Democrat celebrities also howled in outrage, urging Puerto Ricans – who apparently aren’t permitted to think for themselves – to vote for Harris.

Pro-Democrat Puerto Rican superstar Ricky Martin shared a video of Harris’s appeal to Puerto Ricans with his 18.6 million Instagram followers. “This is what they think of us,” he wrote in Spanish. “Vote for @kamalaharris.”

Puerto Rican rapper Bad Bunny – who is also supporting Harris – wrote “There´s so much at stake in this election for Puerto Rican voters and for Puerto Rico.”

“Known for his quick wit and often controversial takes, Hinchcliffe has built a strong following among fans of unfiltered, boundary-pushing comedy with a dedicated fanbase that appreciates his bold and unfiltered approach,” the Daily Mail noted in a profile of the Ohio-born comic who has built a following off of this biting humor and is no stranger to controversy over his jokes.

Hinchcliffe reacted to AOC and Walz’s opportunistic bashing, telling the Minnesota governor that “it might be time to change your tampon.”

The firestorm may be burning hot today but it will be very brief as Harris and her allies move on to whatever the next fake scandal about Trump will be, and there will be plenty with just a week to go until voters go to the polls.
