Former President Donald Trump and Joe Rogan mocked California Democrat Gov. Gavin Newsom for sanitizing San Francisco ahead of an official state visit from Chinese leadership.

In a three-hour interview with Rogan published Friday night, Trump shared his experience traveling to China during the first year of his presidency.

“Their air is dirty,” Trump said, but when he got there, “they laid it out. And I said this air is good.”

“Do you know they closed every factory one week before I got there from within 200 miles?” Trump said.

“That’s like what Gavin Newsom did when Xi Jinping came to San Franciso,” Rogan said.

“He cleaned it up,” Trump added.

“He got rid of homeless people,” Rogan said.

“Isn’t that terrible in a way to think, you know?” Trump said. “He cleaned it up and then it became a pigsty.”

Rogan went on to reference Newsom’s remarks last year when the California governor justified a clean-up blitz ahead of the Chinese president’s arrival after constituents had been forced to tolerate the filth for years. The New York Times characterized the scramble by state and local officials to ready the city for a meeting between Presidents Xi and Joe Biden last year as one of “teenagers frantically cleaning up after a house party with their parents on the way home.”

“If you have people over at your house, you are gonna clean up the house,” Newsom said last November.

“How about just keep your f***ing house clean?” Rogan said Friday. “Can you imagine? It’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard anybody say ever as a governor as to excuse why you finally cleaned up your homeless problem.”

Rogan went on to highlight an app that “will show you where the human feces has been documented in San Francisco.”

“It’s just bum crap everywhere,” Rogan said.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis presented the infamous “poop map” to the California governor during a Fox News debate last fall.

“You see how almost the whole thing is covered,” DeSantis said. “Because that is what has happened in one of the previous greatest cities this country has ever had.”

“Human feces is now a fact of life,” DeSantis added, “except when a communist dictator comes to town. Then they clean up the streets.”
