Joe Biden was in Laveen Village, Arizona, on Friday to formally “apologize” for the “sin” of the U.S. Government-run boarding school system that separated children from their Native American parents, calling it a “blot on American history.”

Biden said it was a shame that it had taken this long to happen.

“I formally apologize as president of United States of America for what we did,” Biden said. “The Federal Indian boarding school policy — the pain is has caused will only be a significant mark of shame, a blot on our record history. For too long, this all happened with virtually no public attention, not written about in our history books, not taught in our schools.”

Biden had promised to visit for two years and is just getting around to it now.

Even the AP recognized what Biden’s visit was about now, shortly before the election — trying to get Native American support for Kamala Harris.

Democrats hope Biden’s visit to the Gila River Indian Community’s land on the outskirts of Phoenix’s metro area will also provide a boost to Vice President Kamala Harris’turnout effort in a key battleground state.

But naturally, Joe Biden is Joe Biden, so there were some problems.

He told a weird story about how his wife has been to Indian County many times, but that sometimes he doesn’t think she’s going to come home.

What the heck? Does he think they’re going to keep her? Is he implying something weird or racist about Native Americans? Or does he think she’s finally had enough of him? We haven’t really seen much of her lately.

What must his audience think of him when he says weird things like this? Talk about a problematic statement.

Then there was how his brain broke right as he tried to pronounce the name of the community, the Gila River Indian Community. You can see him squinting hard, his eyes almost closed, trying to read the teleprompter, and his brain just stalling out.

Then he says, “There’s nothing wrong with me.”

Excuse me, sir, but I beg to differ. There’s a lot wrong with you, and unfortunately, it’s putting us all at risk because Kamala Harris and your Democratic enablers have refused to be honest about your problems. Harris has an obligation to do something about it and she’s still lying to us about it, even now.

Biden was in Germany a week ago, making weird comments and looking confused. We’ve seen Biden try to talk to dead people in the past, for example, when he thought a person who was dead was in the audience.

But this time during his remarks, he seemed to imply a living person — former Arizona representative Gabby Giffords — was no longer with us.

“Thank you to Sen. Mark Kelly, a great friend who also was married to an incredible woman who was my friend,” Biden said. And he sounded said, like he thought she was gone.

She’s still very much alive. She was shot many years ago, but fortunately survived. Does he not know that?

Reminder of what Harris just said this week to cover this up:

This should disqualify her.
