Black and Latino voters in Pennsylvania gave MSNBC’s Alex Wagner an earful as they emphatically expressed their support for former President Trump.

But they not only emphasized the many reasons they felt secure with giving the Republican presidential nominee a second term, they were more than clear that Vice President Kamala Harris cannot deliver.

The host of “Alex Wagner Tonight” interviewed members of the Black Republican Club of Philadelphia, likely expecting that many would be supporting the Democrat nominee. While a good portion of the discussion focused on illegal immigration, a group of black women dropped a reality truth-bomb on Democrats who have smugly believed the black and Latino vote is a given.

“She’s a woman of color. I’m not putting her down because of that, and I’m not putting her down because she’s a woman. I’m not a feminist, I’m sorry. But at the end of the day, I don’t think she has the personality,” a woman named Crystal told Wagner. “I don’t think that she has what it takes to go up against Putin and to go up against these other presidents that are built for this… I don’t want to be scared because my president is scared. I want my president to feel secure and manly and about it.”

When the MSNBC host turned the focus on gender, the women quickly shot down the narrative.

A voter named Justice contended that “most men love their mothers and love their wives. Most men respect women, but she doesn’t have the qualifications or education to really run America because she doesn’t have the experience.”

“She doesn’t understand our struggles. And for me to believe in her for another four years, you’re crazy. Like, you’re crazy. You’re saying the same thing that you said four years ago,” she added.

They scoffed at Harris’ claims to be a black candidate, agreeing with Trump’s assessment that the vice president had assumed the black identity when it became convenient.

“When she was sworn into the Senate as the first Indian-American, which is fine. We don’t care,” Dr. Alfie Wagner said, as the others heartily agreed.

“We all know she’s not black. Let’s understand that. We’re all clear on that. From my point of view, she’s already been there. She’s in office right now,” Valerie told the host who went on to claim that “the voters I spoke with here are not representative of black voters in Philadelphia as a whole. Black voters are expected to support Kamala Harris by wide margins in this election.”

The sentiment seems to be held in other cities as well, as one X user documented his 66-year-old grandmother was switching parties.

In another segment of the MSNBC report, Wagner spoke with one young voter named Dorian Urizar whose main concern is immigration.

“For us, like, seeing the new immigrants come in, it’s just – they are more violent, it is more chaos, they do more bad than anything, and we have been here for longer than them,” said Urizar who is from a Guatemalan immigrant family. “And it is starting to affect us more, because like, stuff is getting stolen, they are making us look bad, as immigrants, and we stayed longer than them, and we have been getting more misrepresentation because of them.”

He found the idea of mass deportation “a little bit iffy,” but admitted, “I do think it’s a good idea for the new immigrants coming in.”

“The part that drives me crazy is I feel the new immigrants are celebrating people breaking the law. Why create the law and a whole process for immigration for y’all to break it?” a woman named Sheila Armstrong told Wagner, as she completely agreed with Trump’s assessment that illegal migrants were coming to take “black jobs.”

“Well, first of all, they are,” Armstrong said. “They are illegal aliens. They are taking jobs that belong to the citizens of this country. It is just the fact that Trump is saying it out loud. That is why the fact that we rally around, behind Trump, because at the end of the day, this is the stuff we have been shouting out as a community.”

“We have criminals in this country who are destroying our nation, they are coming in here, getting earmarked bills, policies to open up businesses, get free housing, get access – easier access than those who are legally immigrating to this country to welfare and other benefits,” Pastor Philip Fisher said.

“So, like, as a taxpayer, we have to pay for these guys to have luxuries of life, and we don’t get anything. Especially Black Americans, who have suffered so much in the system under Democrats. We don’t get anything. That’s insane,” he added, calling out the media for “trying to change the narrative” about Trump’s comments on Springfield, Ohio, and Haitians eating pets.

“You talk about Springfield, Ohio, and the whole thing with the fluff talk, grabbing the sound bite about Haitians eating cats and dogs. Y’all are trying to change the narrative of what he’s really talking about, change the narrative of what we’re talking about, and telling us that’s what we should be discussing, ” he criticized.
