George Conway, ex-husband of Kellyanne Conway, made the interesting decision to go after the sister of a slain Army soldier.
Mayra Guillen is the sister of Vanessa Guillen, who was tragically murdered by a fellow soldier. Her sister’s burial has become the topic of conversation recently, as it is featured in a hit piece from The Atlantic aimed at former President Donald Trump. Mayra responded to the piece, saying that she didn’t appreciate how her sister’s death was being exploited for political gain and defending her impression of Trump at the time the tragedy occurred.
“Wow. I don’t appreciate how you are exploiting my sister’s death for politics- hurtful & disrespectful to the important changes she made for service members. President Donald Trump did nothing but show respect to my family & Vanessa. In fact, I voted for President Trump today,” she wrote on X.
Wow.

Conway jumped into the fray, defending the piece from the sister of the victim.
“No one is exploiting your sister’s death here. This is isn’t about her. It’s about Trump’s sociopathic behavior. He displays it publicly and privately, and his contempt for anyone else’s lives—including those of men and women in uniform who made the ultimate sacrifice—is apparent to anyone who chooses, unlike you, to open their eyes,” he said.

Mayra shot back with a zinger, noting that Conway boasts about being an Atlantic contributor in his X bio.
Is that why the @TheAtlantic is in your bio? https://t.co/w5VQcF8JUk

Conway was dragged for his comments:
Yeah you tell that victim’s sister, George.

Hey dipshit
Her own family said it was not true
You are using a death of a service member to feed your severe TDS— Brianna Price (@briprice661) October 23, 2024
Her own family said it’s not true. You just hate Trump so much bc the media told you too, you don’t even know why. You’re such a waste of oxygen phag.

While expecting George Conway to do his due diligence before posting about Trump is a tall order, the fact that the vast majority of the sources cited in this hit piece have denied saying that which has been attributed to them shows once again his lack of political acumen.
Maybe…

Go after the grieving sister, dude. That’s the spirit. Your elevator ride to the bottom of humanity is nearly complete.
