We’ve written about the disgusting hit piece on President Donald Trump by The Atlantic with another unnamed “source” about what Trump supposedly said in a meeting about a murdered soldier, Vanessa Guillen.

It has now been roundly debunked by people who were present as well as blasted by Guillen’s sister Mayra and the family attorney.

Guillen accused them of exploiting her sister’s death for politics and said Trump had been nothing but respectful to their family and, in fact, she just voted for him.

Mayra Guillen is talking more about that Atlantic article and she’s not holding back about how she thinks she was misled. She thought it was going to be about her sister and the laws they were trying to get passed. When she found out what it was going to be about, she told him that she didn’t wish her sister’s name to be a part of it, but he disregarded what she said and published it anyway.

But in an example of not knowing when to lay down the Trump hate, Never Trump George Conway weighed in to criticize Guillen.

No one is exploiting your sister’s death here.  This is isn’t about her. It’s about Trump’s sociopathic behavior.  He displays it publicly and privately, and his contempt for anyone else’s lives—including those of men and women in uniform who made the ultimate sacrifice—is apparent to anyone who chooses, unlike you, to open their eyes.

Imagine hating Trump so much that you criticize the grieving sister of a murdered soldier. What audacity — “This isn’t about her.” How over the slide have you gone when you go so low? He truly has no shame. Everything is always about their Trump hate, no matter who it might hurt.

But that’s when Mayra Guillen just flattened him with her response.

Oof. That’s what they like to call a “murder.” And it’s true, Conway has in his X profile that he’s a contributor to the execrable rag.

Good for Mayra Guillen for standing up to these people and standing for the truth.
