Vice President Kamala Harris came under fire for racist pandering to the latest group on her radar.

The Democratic presidential nominee has been chasing after support from base members of the party including women and black men as the final weeks of the election campaign play out. But her latest promise to Latino voters had many blasting the disingenuous appeals as she claimed her opponent, former President Donald Trump has “disrespected and insulted Latino men and communities.”

Targeting one specific demographic in promising to address policy changes in their favor sparked a wave of mockery and angry backlash on social media where X users pointed out the obvious.

According to a New York Times/Siena College poll, Harris’s “support among Hispanic voters is in dangerously low territory for Democrats,” the New York Times reported.

“The poll found that Hispanic voters maintain a fondness for the Trump administration and view the current White House with less enthusiasm. Latino voters were more likely to believe that Mr. Trump’s policies helped them than to believe that Mr. Biden’s policies were beneficial,” the Times noted.

Bob Unanue, president and Chief Executive Officer of Goya Foods warned how Biden-Harris administration policies have turned America into the “land of exploitation” instead of opportunity. In an interview with Fox News, he said the Latino community is “fed up” with being exploited by the current administration and is showing signs of being “head over heels” for former President Donald Trump.

A new USA Today/Suffolk University poll showed Trump leading Harris by a significant margin among Latino voters.

Politico noted that “Harris’ performance with Latino voters in Pennsylvania, home to about 580,000 registered Latino voters, could tip the entire election.”

Harris claimed she is a “pragmatic capitalist” in an interview with Telemundo, saying she wants to support Latino entrepreneurs.

“I am a capitalist. I am a pragmatic capitalist,” she said Tuesday. “I believe that we need a new generation of leadership in America that actively works with the private sector to build up the new industries of America, to build up small-business owners, to allow us to increase home ownership.”

“I know that Latino men often have a more difficult time having access to the big loans from the big banks because of relationships, because of things that are not necessarily grounded in their qualifications. So I’m focused on what we can do to bring more capital to community banks that will understand the community and being able to give those kinds of loans,” she added.

However, X users saw through the outreach and called out the Democrat nominee.
