Vice presidential candidate JD Vance stopped by Fox News this week to defend Donald Trump against critics of his McDonald’s campaigns top in Pennsylvania over the weekend.
“He was interacting with people. He was talking to employees. He was giving people food. And he was just being — what he does best which is just being among the people, talking to them about what they care about — he’s showing genuine interest,” Vance told Fox News.
“That’s something you can’t stage and you can’t fake. That’s just the genuine person that Donald Trump is which is why I think a lot of working people…have this emotional connection to Donald Trump,” Vance continued. “You can’t make up that kind of connection. Unfortunately, Kamal Harris has tried and failed and I think that’s why her campaign is flailing a bit right now.”

“Donald Trump just goes into McDonald’s and he is who he is, and people love him.”

Trump worked both the fry station and the drive-thru during his short McDonald’s stint. And while it may have been short, Trump assured voters it was “15 minutes longer than Kamala” worked there.
