Fox News anchor Bret Baier reacted to Alec Baldwin playing him on Saturday Night Live as the comedy skit show covered his viral interview with Vice President Kamala Harris.
In a statement to the Daily Mail, Baier admits he “laughed out loud” at Baldwin’s portrayal of him, saying, “My sons thought it was very, very cool.”
“I did laugh out loud a number of different times. Alec Baldwin is welcome to guest host for me on Special Report anytime,” the anchor said.

But while Baier may have delighted in Baldwin’s performance, X users saw things a little differently. Many referenced the current legal troubles the actor has found himself in:
It was great that he made it through the sketch without shooting and murdering anyone.

The irony of SNL joking ‘if Kamala was in Breaking Bad it would have ended in 3 episodes’ is that she was District Attorney for SanFran & AG for all of California during the drug epidemic that was so prolific they made the show about it.

They wish this was reality, but the actual interview exposed how bad she is.

Missed an opportunity to be funny. Which is ironic because Alec Baldwin doesn’t miss such easy shots.

He’s married to a grifter who hijacked a false nationality, and he shot and killed someone. Why is he on TV?

So why no Jim Gaffigan? He was awesome at the Al Smith event unlike Kamala’s cringe. Also see you took a strange path with the interview making it about something that absolutely nothing to do with it. You really missed an opportunity to be funny but it would have required…

Molly Shannon resurrects Mary Katherine Gallagher after a quarter century in a painfully unfunny sketch and Alec Baldwin shows up playing Bret Baier.
Not a good week for SNL.
