As America closes in on Election Day, voters are already lining up to cast their ballots. Some, however, are reporting discrepancies between what they chose, and what they saw on their paper ballot.
Bo French, the Tarrant County Republican chairman, posted on X that he received reports of printed paper ballots not matching what the voter reportedly chose on the screen. In a short video, those who had already voted urged the others in line to double-check their ballots carefully to make sure their desired candidates were selected.
Watch:
Today at 3:29pm I was notified of reports that voters were experiencing problems. Reports were that people who selected Trump on the screen were seeing Harris on the printed ballot. This was reported to the Election Judge and in at least one case the voter was issued a new ballot… pic.twitter.com/idKTSgm3qS

In a follow-up post, he added a screenshot of messages between himself and Tarrant County Elections Administrator Clint Ludwig.

As the story began to trend on X, people began to weigh in and ask their own questions:
VOTES BEING SWITCHED IN TARRANT COUNTY TEXAS! ⚠️⚠️⚠️
Tarrant County uses a 2 step process for its voting machines called a Hybrid machine, “InterCivic Hybrid System” (HART).
First, you cast your vote electronically.
Then, you print out your paper ballot and deposit it… pic.twitter.com/BER4kcnDTK

Three questions for him…
a.) If machines can flip one vote what prevents them from flipping more?
b.) How would they know if a buyer doesn’t self-audit his ballot like this guy did?
c.) How on earth can a machine flip a vote at all faster all the testing that was done?

Please tell me you are communicating all of this to the Trump Campaign @LaraLeaTrump

What’s going to stop it from happening again and again?? EVERYONE please check your vote ballot. I’m also in the DFW area where this Texas man is from. I’m voting Wednesday and will share the information with the staff when I get there.

No. He caught it before he inserted it. So that ballot was not counted.

Others were quick to chalk it up to operator error:
…. This sounds far more likely this person hit the wrong button..

So one voter was sloppy pressing the touchscreen, or worse, the whole thing was staged.

Good to know he’s the first of 60K early voters to push the wrong button

It could’ve easily been user error.
But you choose to portray it otherwise.— Aaron TX4Kamala Stewart (@aaronstew12) October 22, 2024
He hit the wrong button, it’s not complicated. The bigger question is did he do it on purpose? MAGA does this all the time so they can hopefully get on Fox News.
