The grueling final stretch before the election is taking a toll on the Kamala Harris campaign as the candidate’s manufactured momentum has stalled with the Democrats on the verge of a soul-crushing loss even worse than 2016.

With their early strategy of keeping the undemocratically installed nominee away from the press and only available in highly controlled settings having backfired and the lack of real interviews now a huge liability, Team Kamala is already “exhausted” over criticism and being called a “band of idiots,” according to an Obama campaign veteran.

“[I]n politics you have three things: you have time, you have money, and you have volunteers,” Jim Messina said during a recent MSNBC appearance. “And the one thing of those three you can’t go get more of is time. So there’s really difficult decisions being made in Wilmington right now about what you do with her time, what you do with the surrogates’ time.”

“It’s why you see these campaign people on TV and they look absolutely exhausted, because everyone is telling them they’re a band of idiots, and they should do it their way, and they have to make really, really difficult decisions,” added Messina, who managed Barack Obama’s 2012 reelection campaign.

The Harris team has been second-guessed over the lack of interviews that Harris has done while former President Donald J. Trump and running mate J.D. Vance have been a constant presence on television, on podcasts, and at events where they have explained their policies and vision for America while the vice president was kept under wraps, until the last couple of weeks.

“There’s competing things,” Messina continued, “the press team wants her on these TV interviews, the fundraising team wants her to do one more big event in X city. The battleground states are saying, ‘We’ve gotta have her three more times in Michigan.’ And so making those decisions becomes the most important thing.”

Harris was the beneficiary of the most intense propaganda campaign since COVID when party leaders led by Nancy Pelosi and Barack Obama decided that they had to pull the plug on the mentally feeble Joe Biden or potentially face an electoral landslide loss.

The deeply unpopular vice president who had been a punchline since she took office was falsely presented as a transformational figure who would bring “a new way forward” despite her being a part of the administration that has destroyed America both domestically and on the world stage.

And it worked for a while until more people began paying attention. With Trump declining to participate in another rigged debate that would be a pre-election trap, Harris’ handlers suddenly threw her out for a blitz of non-threatening interviews that she botched and in what will go down as a monumental strategic blunder, agreed to have her sit down with Bret Baier on Fox News.

The Fox News interview was an absolute dumpster fire with Harris unable to articulate any coherent policy other than “muh Trump” and losing her temper, snapping at Baier after showing up late and then having her aides pull the plug early after it went off the rails.

Harris is also failing to win the support of black males, setting off a panicked response from Democrats who recently deployed Messina’s old boss to scold the “brothers” over their sexism.

Instead of working to shore up support in the black community and selling her policies to the larger electorate, Harris is burning valuable time campaigning with disgraced ex-congresswoman Liz Cheney to peel off a few white suburban voters in the battleground states, so a “band of idiots” may be an accurate description of her “exhausted” team.
