No matter what one’s lived experience is, that means nothing in the grand scheme of things, as anecdotal evidence is not actual evidence. However, Brian Stelter did not get the memo that just because the roads are nice in his community, that does not mean that is how the rest of the world operates.

According to Stelter, people are not allowed to complain about their roads because everything is fine where he lives. And given how asinine this statement is, Shermichael Singleton had no choice but to call him out for being so out-of-touch with the average American.

According to The Daily Caller:

“My roads are not — I love New York, but my roads are not crumbling, my schools don’t suck. I just get tired of the anti-America rhetoric,” Stelter claimed.

How is it considered “anti-American rhetoric” when their tax dollars are not doing what they are intended to do? And it’s pretty ironic claiming that demanding accountability for the most basic functions of government is somehow considered “anti-American” when Stleter is beholden to the most anti-American ideology ever.

“There are a lot of Americans who don’t live in great cities, who do have to send their kids to terrible schools. That is a fact because of their zip codes,” Singleton said. “And to sit here arrogantly and say, ‘My kids go to great schools, I live in a great neighborhood,’ that‘s your experience, not the experience of most people in this country.”

“The roads are crumbling? Where —” Stelter asked, with Singleton cutting him off with, “Come on, bro.”

This is how out of touch many on the left are, as they cannot even comprehend what it feels like to be burdened with potholes. The worst part about that is that they feel as if they are accurate authority figures on what goes on in your life when they don’t even know what it is like to drive on subpar roads.

There is no better representation of the left than this, as they are the masterminds of gaslighting Americans into believing your problems are not real. It does not matter that 66 percent of students are reading below grade level, as Stelter lives near a good school district. And according to him, his truth is more important than actual truth.
