Vice President Kamala Harris conveniently ignored her party’s incendiary rhetoric against former President Donald Trump to declare he “demeans” the office after his fiery remarks about her.

MSNBC host Al Sharpton asked the Democratic presidential nominee about her opponent calling her a “s—” vice president during a rally in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, prompting her to say Trump has “not earned the right” to be in the White House again.

Naturally, Sharpton did not offer any pushback or ask about months of heated rhetoric by the vice president and Democrats against the GOP nominee who has been targeted twice by failed assassination attempts. Laughably, he wanted to know the effect of Trump’s words on “standards.”

“He used a very ugly term about you last night, using the ‘s’ word as vice president. And how do you react to this kind of street talk from someone who wants to be president, was president,” Sharpton said to Harris in a Sunday interview.

“I’ve known you a long time and I know you have thick skin, but I’m not asking you as a person because I know you used to that. But what does it do, in your opinion, to the standards we’re setting for our young people all over the country when we use it in this kind of locker room street talk about an opponent for president of the United States,” the race-hustling reverend asked.

“So the American people deserve so much better. That’s how I come at it. And to your point, the president of the United States must set a standard. Not only for our nation but understanding the standard that we as a nation must set for the world,” Harris began in her lengthy, word-salad response.

“You know, we representing the United States of America, walk into rooms around the world with the earned and self-appointed authority to talk about the importance of democracy, rule of law. And have been thought of as a role model, imperfect though we may be, but a role model of what it means to be committed to certain standards, including international rules and norms, but also standards of decorum,” she said.

“And what you see in my opponent, a former President of the United States really is um – it demeans the office,” she declared, clearly not holding herself or members of her party to the same standard.

“And I have said and I’m very clear about this, Donald Trump should never again stand behind the seal of the president of the United States. He has not earned the right. He’s not earned the right,” she added. “And that’s why he’s going to lose.”

During his rally over the weekend, Trump called Harris “the worst” vice president.

“So you have to tell Kamala Harris that you’ve had enough. That you just can’t take it anymore. ‘We can’t stand you, you’re a sh-t vice president! The worst!’” he said as the rally crowd roared in response.

“‘You’re the worst vice president. Kamala, you’re fired! Get the hell out of here, you’re fired” he added.
