Israel has killed Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, prompting the Navy SEAL who killed Osama bin Laden to note that THIS is how to get the job done.

The killing occurred Wednesday moments after an Israeli drone spotted a wounded Sinwar dying inside the ruins of a building reportedly in southern Gaza.

According to Reuters, Israeli infantry soldiers were in southern Gaza when they spotted three Hamas terrorists “moving between buildings and opened fire, leading to a gunfight during which Sinwar escaped into a ruined building.”

The drone then entered the building, where it found Sinwar covered in a scarf and badly injured in the hand.

Watch below as he desperately threw a stick at the drone moments before he was taken out by Israeli forces:

“The terrorist recognized that the drone was approaching him, took a piece of wood, and threw it in the direction of the drone,” according to reporting by Michael Elgort.

“The IDF soldiers fired a shell there and the terrorist was eliminated. In the morning of October 17, the IDF soldiers entered the second floor of that building and saw the body’s face – then it turned out that this terrorist was Yahya Sinwar himself,” the reporting continues.

Following his death, the Israeli military used dental records, fingerprints, and DNA testing to confirm his identity.

Appearing on Newsmax on Thursday, the Navy SEAL who fired the shot that killed Sept. 11 mastermind Osama bin Laden celebrated Sinwar’s death, telling a network host that this is how it’s done.

“What Israel is doing right now is they’re showing us how to win a war,”  Rob O’Neill said. “They’re taking out the top leaders. They’re going to keep doing it. ”

“And they’re proving to everyone, including like, even right now, our president will say, ‘Well, now he’s dead, we can work on a cease-fire.’ You don’t let someone start a war and then whine about a cease-fire,” he added.

O’Neill also said killing Sinwar “takes away a lot of [Hamas’] abilities” and is a huge morale boost for Israel.

“This is huge for them,” he argued. “And I love that they were able to do it with soldiers. So the last thing that Yahya saw was probably the Israeli flag.”

“And it’s just good on them. Good for the pursuit. And just like the rest of them, you know, he died running away afraid. And the good guys finally caught up to him. I couldn’t be happier,” he continued.

All this comes as the Biden-Harris administration keeps pushing for a ceasefire for blatantly political reasons, despite Israel being so close to finishing the job.

“The Biden administration is taking fresh steps to defuse the spiraling Middle East crisis at a moment when any actions related to Israel could affect the outcome of a U.S. presidential election three weeks away,” Politico has admitted.

“In recent days, President Joe Biden’s team has warned Israel that it must resume humanitarian aid to Gaza or face a cutoff in weapons shipments; wrested an apparent commitment from Israel not to strike Iranian nuclear and oil facilities; marked the anniversary of the killing of a Palestinian American boy; and publicized the steps it is taking to fight Islamophobia in the United States,” according to Politico.

President Joe Biden did, to his credit, at least have the decency to issue a statement celebrating Sinwar’s death.

“This is a good day for Israel, for the United States, and for the world,” he said. “As the leader of the terrorist group Hamas, Sinwar was responsible for the deaths of thousands of Israelis, Palestinians, Americans, and citizens from over 30 countries.”

“To my Israeli friends, this is no doubt a day of relief and reminiscence, similar to the scenes witnessed throughout the United States after President Obama ordered the raid to kill Osama Bin Laden in 2011,” he added.
