Whatever Kamala Harris’ handlers may have hoped to accomplish by trotting her out for an interview on Fox News blew up spectacularly in what can only be described as an unmitigated disaster.

With the election rapidly approaching and Harris’s allies stunned that she is failing to appeal to male voters – especially blacks – they went big by agreeing to a sit-down with anchor Bret Baier in a high-stakes gambit to pitch her to the conservative network’s audience and score some pithy material for other media outlets to use.

But as pro boxing legend Mike Tyson once famously quipped, “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face,” and Baier rose to the occasion with serious questions, unlike anything that the Democrat nominee had been faced with in a slew of interviews with non-serious sycophants like neutered shock jock Howard Stern.

To say that Harris failed to rise to the occasion is a monumental understatement as she babbled incessantly about Trump, ducked questions, spewed rambling non-answers and completely lost her composure. It was so bad that four of her people demanded that the plug be pulled early.

“Dana, you’ve been on the other side, you’ve been the wrapper as a press secretary interviewing a president,” Baier told Fox News colleague Dana Perino after the interview aired. “And you know I’m talking like four people waving their hands like it’s gotta stop… I had to dismount there at the end.”

Harris also showed up late for the interview which was recorded earlier and then aired “as live” on Wednesday’s edition of “Special Report” according to the Fox News anchor.

“We were going to do 25 or 30 minutes. They came in and said, ‘Well, maybe 20,’ so it was already getting whittled down,” Baier said. “Then the vice president showed up about 5:15. We were pushing the envelope to be able to turn it around for the top of the 6 o’clock. So that’s how it started…”

When she did show up, Harris did herself no favors, angrily ranting about “democracy” without a hint of irony after her undemocratic installation by a Nancy Pelosi-Barack Obama-led coup that stole the nomination from incumbent Joe Biden and handed it to his veep who didn’t win a single primary vote.

“Kamala Harris’ interview with Bret Baier was a TRAIN WRECK. Kamala was angry, defensive, and once again abdicated any responsibility for the problems Americans are facing. She couldn’t give a straight answer to a single question because she has no answers. Kamala’s entire campaign is based on lies about President Trump,” Trump’s National Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a post to X.

“Kamala can’t handle the pressure of an interview with Fox News — she certainly can’t handle the pressure of being President of the United States,” she added.

“Great job by Bret Baier in his Interview with Lyin’ Kamala Harris. She has a massive and irredeemable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME – So bad, in fact, that she is barely able to talk about any subject other than the man who had the best economy ever, the strongest border in history, and who just got the UNANIMOUS ENDORSEMENT OF THE U.S. Border Patrol, ME!” Trump wrote in a social media post after the debate, tipping his hat to the Fox News anchor who he had previously criticized.

“Their Endorsement was a TREMENDOUS HONOR!!! They said that Comrade Kamala did a terrible job, the absolute worst in memory, and can’t be allowed to do it again. She is also the WORST Vice President in history, but hopefully will soon be GONE,” he said. “Again, congratulations to Bret Baier on a tough but very fair interview, one that clearly showed how totally incompetent Kamala is. For the good of our Nation, her inferior Cognitive ability must be tested at once!”

Earlier in the day, Harris appeared at a Pennsylvania rally where she was joined by neocon propagandist Bill Kristol and disgraced former congressman and J6 committee member Adam Kinzinger, urging Republicans to back her and not Trump. If the Fox News interview was intended as an appeal to the network’s viewers for her support, it backfired bigly.
