Fundraising is a critical component of any presidential campaign and expenditures can extend well beyond the election, particularly if challenges to the outcome are expected.

Candidates not only campaign right up to the election, but they also fundraise as long as possible, as seen with an event former President Donald Trump is holding a week before the 2024 election.

Trump and running mate JD Vance are scheduled to host a campaign fundraiser at Madison Square Garden and the event features an “Ultra MAGA Experience” package, which sells for nearly $1 million.

There are six tiers of donation packages for the fundraiser, beginning with the $5,000 “President’s Club Experience.” The “Ultra MAGA Experience” will set you back $924,600. Of course, as with anything involving Donald Trump, the naysayers put a negative spin on the event.

As we have seen, haters are going to hate, going out of their way to assign some nefarious motive to the former president trying to raise money in support of his White House bid. These same people are not batting an eye at Kamala Harris reportedly raising more than $1 billion since entering the presidential race three months ago, according to the prerequisite source familiar with the matter.
