Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer has issued a tepid apology for a video of her blaspheming the most sacred rite of the Catholic religion in the most bizarre and perverse way imaginable.

In the video, the Democrat lockdown queen fed a Dorito to kneeling and submissive leftist podcaster Liz Plank who sensually stuck out her tongue to receive the flavored corn chip from the governor who wore an emotionless expression along with a camouflage Harris-Walz baseball cap.

The strange video sparked outrage among Catholics who have been under attack by Democrats and godless which feels comfortable openly mocking their religion.

“Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer insulted Catholics nationwide when she intentionally ridiculed the Eucharist in a video,” Catholic League president Bill Donohue said in a statement, rejecting the media’s insistence that it was just an innocent TikTok challenge.

“There is no way to understand this stunt other than as an expression of vintage anti-Catholic bigotry. Whitmer’s team, and her allies in the media, are trying to distort what she did. They are saying she was merely mimicking a popular trend on social media where people are shown feeding each other,” he said. “This is a lie, and it is easy to disprove.”

Catholics and Catholic groups slammed Whitmer with Donohue calling it “political suicide” and pledged that the organization would “pull out all the stops on this one.”

Whitmer seems to have gotten the message or is at least pretending to because of the political damage in a state that is absolutely critical for the hopes of Democrats winning the election.

“Over 25 years in public service, I would never do something to denigrate someone’s faith. I’ve used my platform to stand up for people’s right to hold and practice their personal religious beliefs,” Whitmer said in a statement.

“My team has spoken to the Michigan Catholic Conference. What was supposed to be a video about the importance of the CHIPS Act to Michigan jobs, has been construed as something it was never intended to be, and I apologize for that,” she added.

“There are indeed many clips of people feeding each other on social media, but there is no reference to the CHIPS Act, nor are they eating chips. The typical video on TikTok shows one person sitting at a table, often in a restaurant, being fed—usually with a fork or spoon—by a friend, Donohue said, rejecting the excuse that the video didn’t explicitly mock holy communion.

“None of them are kneeling. None of them are receiving food on the tongue,” he said. “What Whitmer did was to deride Holy Communion. There is no wiggle room for her to deny the obvious.”

According to the New York Post’s Jon Levine, “Gov. Whitmer is a top surrogate for Harris’ 2024 presidential campaign, and the imbroglio comes as Harris faces skepticism from Catholic voters over a series of slights. Roughly 18% of Michigan residents are Catholic and the state is a critical 2024 battleground.”

The Harris-Biden regime has already alienated Michigan Muslims due to the lack of a ceasefire in Gaza, thanks to Whitmer, Catholics may not vote for Kamala either.
