Vice President Kamala Harris was blasted as “textbook trash” by the wife of Miami Dolphins running back Raheem Mostert.

Devon Mostert called out the Democratic presidential nominee in Instagram Stories after Harris commented on Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis not taking her calls before Hurricane Milton made landfall this week.

“In case you missed it, Kam Kam went on a media rant yesterday about how selfish and utterly responsible DeSantis is. The math ain’t mathing, sis,” stated her post which included a clip of President Biden praising DeSantis for doing a “great job.”

“They’re sinking their own ship,” she added.

“She’s garbage. Textbook trash. No one has time, Kamala- especially not for her to say some bulls**t like, ‘we can be unburdened, by what has been,’” Mostert wrote in one of her posts.

The Miami-based Mostert family was out of the path of the pair of deadly hurricanes that affected the Sunshine State but were clearly as frustrated by the politicizing of the storms as DeSantis himself. The Republican governor called out Harris for playing “political games” this week.

“People are in desperate need of support right now and playing political games at this moment in these crisis situations…is just utterly irresponsible, and it is selfish,” Harris complained to reporters Monday.

“It is about political gamesmanship, instead of doing the job that you took an oath to do, which is to put the people first,” she said of the governor who was actually doing just that.

“My focus has not been on dealing with Kamala Harris,” DeSantis told Fox News this week. “But I’d also say it’s not about you, Kamala. It’s about the people of Florida. My focus is exactly where it should be. And I can tell you this. I’ve worked on these hurricanes under both President Trump and President Biden. Neither of them ever tried to politicize it. She has never called on any of the storms we’ve had since she’s been vice president until apparently now.”

Mostert was not the only one to weigh in on the hurricane optics as Annah Tagovailoa, the wife of Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, shared a post about former President Donald Trump offering free rooms in his Miami Doral resort to hundreds of utility workers ahead of the storm.
